Look at it this way, when you go out for a walk you don't say you're "going out to do some walking". This is the same, except the "going out to do some walking" is replaced with "typing". It's descriptive of the physical action you're taking but it's not really representative of what y're actually doing.

Officially last week. KJP doesn't have enough time to continue updating the game as it is and actually, you know, have a life.

I believe KJP is working on updating and improving it so they can continue with it at some point in the future though.
