Create the Waystones, rune-enscribed constructs that absorb unaligned souls in a relatively near (5-10 km) radius. Each soul is tithed a small amount of essence and then passed on to be reincarnated. Create 5 and give the Shishegui the schematics to build more of them.

Create the first Seerstone,Shang Di. A sentient and nearly indestructible (by mortals anyway) monument of minerals, seerstones have the ability to draw in sapiens from long distances. Once attracted, the seerstone can then teach them the aspects of civilisation, as well as the values of Order. Eventually, seerstones will subtly induce its students to worship it, which is then mostly transmitted back to Avignon; a small portion is kept by the stone to conduct minor miracles or help in constructing civilisation. Shang Di specifically has an authoritarian and aloof outlook, but is never outright malevolent (4 essence for an archangel?).

I had thought that without a specified supernatural component (like "and it makes only RED light! Like a lazor shark!"), the star would just be a mundane M-class star giving off red and lesser amounts of higher frequencies, much like, say, Antares which still gives off some yellows, greens, blues, and UV.

I'm still willing to pay for the supernaturally completely red planet with red rock and red air and red oceans and red wildlife (but not red other-made races because that's not really in Kokkinadam's uncontested control), though.

The blast radius for a soul is NOT 11m^2! 11m^2 is the blast area of a soul. The blast radius is actually about 3.7m^2, making it less lethal than a hand grenade. See here for the mathmetats.

YG[2/1]/T111: T11: Yes. Probably once I can focus enough to finish all the requested books and send them out at once. YG[2/1]: It's currently under development. Part of the difficulty is in making sure the engine is very extensible and configurable so I don't end up locked to, for example, one set of voting rules, but the fact that I'm currently taking my first actual programming course (one guess as to what actually motivated me to do this ) really doesn't help. Also, I'm a bit distracted with potentially wanting to run a super-lightweight possibly slightly illustrated suggestion game (YGor) for an intermission of sorts while I iron out the bugs.

A race of social insectoids who live in vast underground hives. They stand approximately 1.2 metres tall and have an appearance which is similar to that of ants, but have four legs and far arms, and posses infravision. They have wings, but they are totally incapable of flight, and are covered in bioluminescent markings that are used to indicate position and communicate at range.
They have no spoken language, but instead posses a short range telepathy(about 15 metres), which allows the Hive as a whole to function as a neural network.
Kryptid societies are split into multiple castes, but each individual can change caste depending upon the needs of the Hive. When a Kryptid changes caste, the Kryptid weaves a cocoon around itself, before fusing its carapace to it. The Kryptid then metamorphoses into the target caste.

The Kryptid castes are:
Worker. A basic labourer, who keeps the Hive running. A worker's main jobs are to excavate new tunnels and chambers, and to haul materials, goods and things around. They have below average intelligence. They are not as dextrous as the other castes but are stronger.
Farmer. A farmer who tends to the subterranean crops and livestock, and manages the Hive's food stocks. Farmers from Hives that form at or close to the surface sometimes cultivate plants and livestock found growing above ground. They are of average intelligence.
Soldier. Protectors of the Hive. It is their job to defend their Hive first and themselves second. They are more agile are stronger, posses heightened senses more free will than the other castes.
Crafters. They make the equipment that the other castes use. They are not physically strong, but are dextrous and have above average intelligence.
Tinkers. A subset of crafters who posses more free will to experiment with things. They are usually found only in large, developed hives that can afford to waste the resources. their creations do not always benefit the Hive.
Overseers. They are dedicated Psions who posses enhanced mental abilities which are used to coordinate the Hive and relay messages. They have a surprising amount of free will, which can sometimes become problematic if they split the Hive into multiple opposing factions. Overseer caused civil wars are rare, however, because the soldiers usually step in and kill the responsible overseer before they can cause too much trouble. They have their own internal hierarchy, which is incomprehensible to those not a member of the caste.
Queen. The Big Boss. She normally has near absolute control over the Hive, via the overseers, at least when they are not splitting up the Hive. She posses a large harem of male drones who also act as her personal guard.

Despite the mental communication and general lack of individual free will, The Kryptids have a large portion of time allocated for sleeping and general leisure. They are curious creatures, but are also isolationists. if an non-Kryptid outsider happens across a Hive, the outsider will be greeted and brought inside. The outsider will usually wake up later with the majority of its memory wiped. Occasionally, a trade agreement will be reached, though the outsider will not be able to remember much of anything else about the encounter.

Andres, I'd like to remind that those calculations are useless, because A. it was based on a single event, B. Population Density doesn't work the way you think it does, and C. If he was being killed/fucked with odds are there was a crowd anyway.
