It only requires one more vote to pass, doesn't it?

And that is why it is so funny.

The point of keeping the golems on fire isn't for the value of fire as a weapon. It's more to keep the golems functioning at a reasonable speed.
It was never a promise. It was a dirty lie, and you all knew that. You should all know by now that you can't trust a word I say.

Vote for 75.01. Council may become actualy capable of doing something that way.

Urg...

Motivation...so low...

Will to try and deal with the stupendous number of gods that seem intrinsically opposed to Goodness at first glance...so battered...

Priority list for things to do with my Essence...so muddled...

So I'm thinking about making a device with Joha which allows any non-deity to be brought back to life for free. It works by placing a being's body and soul into the machine and then pushing a button. The body must be capable of sustaining life (so old age and decapitated bodies are a no) and the body must be compatible with the soul (either their actual body or a new, custom-crafted body). This machine will work because as goddess of Souls and Blood(Flesh), I have the "physical" requirements necessary for a revival but with Joha's sphere of Life I can actually meld them together properly.

Is it possible to just bring a thing back to life with Joha's help for free WITHOUT the machine?

$$$
Price check on the Joha/Vandire Life Machine
Price check on a moon-sized space battleship with "asteroid-blasters" instead of guns (they work the same, but they're officially tools and as such don't fall under 'weapons') and a "space flashlight" instead of a wave motion gun (same deal, but for the WMG). It does NOT have a more powerful final form in the shape of a humanoid like the old design did. (The one with the final form costs 20-21E.) Also, if it doesn't make it any more expensive, I'd like the asteroid-blasters to be energy-based. They're just as effective as kinetic weapons, it's just a theming thing.

All fanfics are heresy, each and every one, especially the shipping ones. Those are by far the worst.

I knew it was called Poe's law, Andres, I said it that way because this world's Poe probably wasn't named that.

Also, I imagine bringing back a single mortal is essentially free. However, I do not believe that could be upscaled without cost,

Eh, just call the laws as they're named is what I say. Don't imply that there's a Poe in Ye Gods, don't imply that there's a Poe IRL, just say "according to Poe's law..." or something. Just an option.

GM said that all non-trivial actions cost Essence. Thus, reviving anything will cost at least 1E.

Reviving Bill the Farmer is a pretty Trivial action for a god.

I think it varies based on plot relevance, effects it will have, the power of the individual, and whether there's anything making it more difficult to resurrect them, and possibly the method you use(restarting someone's heart as soon as it stops is probably a shitton easier than bringing back a centuries dead warlock who was sealed on holy ground and is foretold to bring about the End of Days)

Essence is a power of creation, Void Energy (it really needs a better name) is a power of destruction and change. Now where is our power of stasis/protection to complete the Hindu trinity?
