Imma do a thing. Gonna explain what led me to doing the thing.

I've been trying to come up with a set of mechanics for werewolves which I may or may not create. I'd come up with a few ideas but nothing solid so I decided to take a break and instead think about how I could implement becoming a Super Saiyan, purely for the fun of thinking about it - I had no intention of actually coming up with anything, I swear. Mostly I was thinking about how it could be justified in a world where the Final Form trait already exists. I honestly didn't expect to come up with anything worthwhile and I'm both surprised and proud that I did.

I'm basically trying to say that the idea did indeed branch from a pre-existing idea, it's still its own unique and original idea. Example: shows like Naruto, Bleach, TTGL, etc. have super modes/final forms yet they can all be considered original simply by the way they provided their own unique takes on the idea, despite said idea being done already and despite said idea practically originating from a single source. (Dragon Ball Z)

Disclaimer said and done, it's time for me to type up what I came up with in the IC thread.

EDIT: I have to admit, while I claim that the idea I came up with is suitably original on its own, its name is completely stolen from another popular Bay12 forum game ENTIRELY ORIGINAL AND INSPIRED BY VARIOUS DIFFERENT SOURCES OF MEDIA, OF COURSE!

I started writing that IC post merely minutes after I finished my previous post on OOC. I spend three and a half hours writing it almost non-stop. I'm here just hoping that it doesn't get fiat-ed by the GM. It is 1:24AM where I am right now. Merry Christmas to all and good night!

EDIT: All this mechanic-making is making the possibility of me making a spin-off game more and more likely. I am very glad I chose to hold off on starting one earlier. I was right in choosing to wait and see what other stuff this game would generate.

@KJP: Based on population number, which are the top five sapient races on each planet (excluding Golems and Gremlins)?

If I'm not mistaken, Mermaids, Humans, Gruen, Ophanim (?), and Armu. They're not in any particular order.

Vacations being expensive: That's actually very accurate. I did try my best to keep the others from doing expensive things, but apparently it's OK to spend a lot if it's for souvenirs and food and stuff. I can keep myself fed with a decent amount of surplus energy for around $2-$3 per day, but a comparable amount of food in tourist areas would cost around $30-$40 a day.

Making a spin-off: At some point, you should probably just go and post it. The stream of interesting ideas doesn't really ever stop here, so you may end up waiting too long and possibly losing interest.
