Actually, now would be a pretty good time to advance the world a few months in the Tick. We can see how the Empire and stuff reacts to the fact that they have to either win the battle or else be utterly annihilated by Fusil's forces. At the least some interesting stuff would happen in regards to Fusil-worship. That's just the tip of the ice berg, as well! The people might turn to Yaos, their protector in their time of need, the new bolts will be taken off the racks, the new prototype armour will have been developed, the army will have been trained.....it really would be the battle of the century. Just think about how plot-awesome that is.

You do realize that declaring that it would be a good time to speed up time basically stops me from doing that because of my equal treatment compulsion thing?

I...did not know that. This is basically the only time in the entire game where we'll get to see such a massive population utterly reject a god on their own terms. Your choice if you don't want to see such a massive and unique shift in the balance of power. I'm just saying that it would make for really good reading, writing, and plot. Heck, maybe you can also have tensions flare up between Humans and the various Seppo/Armu civilisations? This really is a golden opportunity for some quality writing. I myself am really excited in reading it. Seriously, it's like a cliffhanger at the end of watching a season of a tv show!

EDIT: The subtitle of the Tick should be Dawn of War. How awesome does that sound!!

I'm not saying I don't want to allow a speedup, and I acknowledge that so much great stuff can come from it. It's something similar to why professional writers frequently refuse to look at fan works, except it's less of a future IP dispute waiting to happen and more of an internal conflict thing where I scrutinize both resolutions more carefully for balance and tend toward maintaining whatever I started with.

As it is, you and your creations are also suffering from quite a bit of bad luck/magic monkeys.
