So for the price of 13 Essence, I get the Avatar, 100 Space Marines, and an Evangelion? That's a pretty sweet deal. I mean, making the Paladins unaging is a bit more expensive than I thought considering they could still die in a myriad of different ways besides old age but it's still pretty good.
Anyone have any ideas on what to call the Evangelion? I'm thinking of calling them the Aev'a. Is that a decent name?

How the hell did I spend 5 Essence on measly little miracles? All I did last turn was do a bit of INCEPTION to get people to do stuff which I've been under the impression could be done without any Essence. It even says that I only spent 1 Essence and that I get 5-6 per tick and considering that I was already on 4 or 5 before I should be on 8-10 by now.

Important correction: The 5-6 number is your Worship rating, not your Essence income. Your Essence income is the sum of a function of that and your Influence rating (hidden). The highest Essence income right now is less than even 5.

Also, if you want to dispute the Essence payments, feel free to do so by reposting the action, the result and payment, and a justification for dropping the expense. This is not guaranteed to drop all the the expenses.

Yes, 1 Essence. While you have many worshippers, your Influence is somewhat lacking. Examples of ways of increasing Influence include creating permanent structures, artifacts, large projects, and other things like that relating to your primary sphere closely. It is typically easier when your primary sphere is not something capable of worship, but it is still possible to raise it.

Permanent structures....you mean like churches? My first prophet from Kesham kind of organised worship of Yaos by creating clergy and setting up a bunch of churches. Not to mention his general word-spreading. And I still have my second prophet on Slytha that should also be spreading the word of Yaos.

To clarify, the following structures provide reasonable amounts of Influence:

• Unique buildings (e.g. opulent temple to Azem)
• Aligned natural features (e.g. a "mirror" of fused sand in the desert for The Light)
• Monuments (e.g. The Light's Multiprism)

While you may argue that each building is unique because of the exact arrangement of atoms and stuff like that, uniqueness here does not really work that way, or you would be able to make randomly shaped rocks unrelated to your sphere and claim that they are unique structures. In general, the cost of the project increases the amount of Influence the structure generates.

I seem to remember that we gain Essence based on our spheres influence on the world. I'm guessing that as human influence on the world increases I would gain more Essence?

My ruling on that so far has been that since humans are worshippers and you have another sphere, getting Influence from humans or human influence would come dangerously close to getting paid twice for the same thing. Since it would make no sense to remove the Worship income, I decided that your Influence aligns with Ambition. The specific connotation of Influence in this game's case is something to the effect of "Influence of sphere on Bubble."
