How much for Alreona Flasks. Simple enchanted glass flasks, normally made of see-through material, capable of making an Alreona type homunculus. This is done by taking genetic material (like a hair, perverts....) from either one person, making a biological clone homunculus based on the DNA that is essentially their child with the vat adding some traits the other parent would give it (often making oddities such as strange colored hair or eyes), or two people, making what their child would be. It is capable of creating hybrids between races that would not normally be able to make offspring, taking some of both traits in a way that doesn't leave them crippled. The Alreona act just like the race that they are biologically in every way, including soul, but are sterile and can only viable make more of themselves via Alreona flasks. The flasks are filled with a variety of ingredients, creating a clear liquid, including the DNA in this step. This soon develops into a fetus, which must be 'feed' and taken care of by the parents who can watch the development. It takes about twice as long as carrying it normally would, hybrids taking the mean from both the parent's biological races and doubling it. The soul is developed during this time (Or of that would be too expensive, it takes on a reincarnated soul at this time, developing one only in the case of new hybrids). Once the child is fully developed, the clear liquid changes color to bronze and the new baby may be safely removed so the flask can be reused.

It hints your essence gain next to your current essence, but doesn't take in Influence or something. The easiest way is to wait until the tick then compare what essence you had last tick with how much essence you have this tick. It isn't foolproof, but gives you a ballpark.

I never took Cim to be the heroic sacrifice type of guy. Personally, I wouldn't be willing to go for suicide tactics but perhaps your character is more different from mine than I thought.

I can actually help with that project of yours. ISAY's scientists are capable of making very expensive, entirely unintelligent, soul-less pig homunculi. Also, the idea of each soul being of a specific race is a vague one. You may be looking into Schrödinger's Box here.

EDIT: So I'm thinking about making a very basic RTD spinoff. Here's how I imagine the game, kind of:

Rolls are made with a d20
Each god has 20 hitpoints
When an attack is made, the attacker and defender roll
If the attacker's roll is higher than the defender's roll, damage done to the defender is [Attacker's Roll] - [Defender's Roll]
If defender's roll is 10+ higher than the attacker's, defender gets the [Counter-Attack] advantage, allowing two attacks next turn
Either player can do stuff besides attack and defend. For example, an attacker may instead of attacking choose to heal, do magic, prepare a defence, etc. Player decides what these actions do/gives bonuses to, within reason
No Essence-usage
No stacked bonuses by default
Minor actions ([Conjure Weapon], for example) are free - other actions can be performed during the turn
Players can increase DC of an action by 5 to increase potency by 1. (Example: Fusil attacks(DC:5) Malakath. [1+4([Weapons])=5(DC: Success) vs 4] Fusil hits Malakath for [(5-4=1) + 1([Weapons]) + 1(DC:5 Attack)] = 3 damage. Malakath HP = 17.

I think there *is* a pretty big difference between an intelligent, sapient, soul-having Alreona type homunculus and a soulless, entirely unintelligent, pig homunculus. I think I can handle it myself, besides, ISAY is kind of being attacked by mermaids.
