"Such a courteous man, a true honor...
While we peruse these stacks, maybe you can enlighten Osirio as to your...conspiracy theories? Assuming you trust me, of course, Mr. Walking." He says with a smile, putting the magical books into his satchel.
Then, he talks. Osirio is good at talking...
"You should know my friends names, since they are too shy to offer them!
The Priestly fellow is Mr. Culpa. I'm not quite sure what he believes in, but he does seem to have a strong faith in...whatever. He fixed my arm once, and now we're friends for life. He's a very poor dancer. I think he was born to dance badly.
The Drow in the shadows...somewhere around here...is one Ithraeheste Fr'Aviir, an old...companion of mine. She doesn't talk much, or even appear to move or breath, or blink-if she's doing her job, you'll barely know she's there! We have a history, but that was a long time ago. She used a fish to catch my heart. I fought a Kraken in her boudoir, and it was a draw. Afterwards, we decided life was too short for Krakens, and parted ways-I've disliked sailing ever since.
Ava Snowhammer, you must have gathered already. She's really quite vicious, if you get to know her. She's only my wife in spirit, not law-the Priest was a fraud, though the drama was real. I won her in a bet against a skin of wine. Nowadays, I'm having trouble getting rid of her, really. That explains the comment about the stones, if you didn't get it by now.
Oh, and the short one is Ari Cole. He's...present. He tells depressing stories in the middle of battle for some reason-we all fight that much harder to make him be quiet. I owe him a crossbow bolt to the gut. I ought to plot his fiendish demise one of these days, but he's persistently useful, despite your first impression.
Together, we make Osirio's Bold Men, a currently luckless mercenary force-we're not quite sure who we're working for right now. It's complicated. Who would believe there were so many liars in this town? I just want to get paid, personally, but people-always dragging me into their expanded plots...enough to make one want to sail away, and never come back...but, I personally hate sailing."
Action: Osirio takes them magic books for his dang self
