Varee create Rods of Amazment that have the random magic effects and gave them to owner of gambling dens as a way to defend themself.

I remove the markings on Lyle. Once all Void influence is removed I will have him create patents.

Why don't mages just stop the flooding? Magic is very flexible like that. If that doesn't work, Malik can just use his prophet miracleness to make the river stop flooding (this is playing off the assumption that he has enough power to, completely random example here, part the Red Sea).

(Regarding Lyle: You got a confused mess mostly focused around a Void Messenger trying to corrupt him. The outcome is uncertain and ambiguous, but he doesn't radiate anomalous levels of eldritch energy or anything like that.)

Lyle pulls out a long parchment and begins to attempt to create patent law.

(Flooding: There is a high risk of burning out many of the mages involved. Keep in mind that rivers tend to hold orders of magnitude more water than, say, an elementalist's water-based attack. While parting it temporarily can work, it requires constant effort to maintain the parting and may also result in burning out.)

(Vote counted. 28.00 is an imminent pass since at this point, 8 have voted (>50% of active players), all of whom support it (>50% of +/- voters if unopposed, >60% of +/- voters if opposed). What is less certain is the exact implementation, which I reckon will spawn a few discussions.

<x (y)>: x represents the ordinary total price of a proposal. y represents the estimated individual cost based on level of support. y is charged to everyone supporting the parent proposal regardless of voting on child proposals for by-committee things like the gas giant plan or the megabeast one.)

(Alright, that answers my questions about voting. Thanks for that. Is it possible to make the river a kind of spirit that can be appeased with the occasional sacrifice? That's a thing that cultures IRL have done for millennia and continue to do today. It would be kinda cool if we could make that a tangible thing in this world, considering that this is a god game.)

To search for bubbles, you will have to leave the Bubble. As time is broken outside, there is a high risk of paradoxing yourself (and dying). Are you sure you want to try?

Awww. Nope. Stay in the safety of the non-murdering Bubble we know and love. Ill have to think of another way. Since the bubble in that story was stuck in one location, it should not be too difficult finding it if it is around here. She has to exit some time, after all.

"If it wasn't for you, none of this would have ever happened and you know it. I can beat fate if I try hard enough. Fate won't stop me from killing, it is not powerful enough to do so. You should really be more considerate to mortal's feelings, after all you did indirectly cause the death of multiple of her close relatives and then fail to save her little brother. Certainly, her anger was warranted. But she is somehow still alive, without having crossed over yet. Is that not suspicious to you? Something is going on here, and it must be investigated if not stopped."
