Kli inspires the Hummingbirds to try to use their songs to grow the Trees' branches to become large enough to serve as platforms for the Luminees and any future visitors.

The Hummingbirds' crafts are mostly created via their magic; including cases of sweet nectar, various wooden-basket like objects, and other random things they may have created with experimentation.

Kli continues to watch the Hummingbirds come to an agreement on their discussions.

Kli and Azem: Furious trading continues in the makeshift marketplace as it seems that the Gruen traders enjoy the nectar more than even the Hummingbirds themselves. Many shinies exchange possession, and an enterprising Hummingbird buys the services of a Mountwyrm potter in an attempt to replicate the heavy but elegant bowls/stone nests the caravan brought on a more usable scale. The Mountwyrms are particularly curious about the construction methods of the intricately detailed Hummingbird baskets and commission a Hummingbird singer-basketweaver to weave custom baskets. There is some exchange of people, mostly with Hummingbirds wanting to join the caravan to see foreign villages.

Tick 08.5:

This halftick has introduced much trade and sleepiness. I will try to finish this summary section later today if it is even necessary or helpful.

Interesting events this half-tick include a Mountwyrm village that started glowing after some wishes, Kli teaching his two groups of Hummingbirds the meaning of balance in person simultaneously and leading them to explore, a gem dragon trading away divine treasure for bulkier shinies and Azem providing a way to lift it all, the discovery of an underwater variety or rice by the Beings(/Ritan?), the arrival of a Mountwyrm caravan at a Tree of Balance and intense trading, and some Hummingbird colonization. The Void has gotten very quiet now, and the cosmic eldritch background radiation seems to have reached a minimum.

Grauel's voice reaches down to the Devourer,
My hunger grows. Have the Gruen prepare me a suitable offering to appease me for now and continue to help them increase in population and influence so that I may gain more essence.

Artisanii talks to the Muses.

"Hello, Artists. I have a job for you. Finish the last touches to the shrine; finish drying your paints and carve your last statues. I want you to scatter across the lands, to inspire and create similar shrines and works. The Muses who specialize in Masonry and Engraving, go to the Mountainwyrms. To the Directors out there creating Comedies and Dramas, go to the Luminee's. The singers, search for the Trees of Balance. The Painters, scatter fully across the land to where there is no races."

Grauel: The Devourer commands a few villages to prepare a suitable meal for the god of Hunger himself. They begin to harvest their special moss, grind some bark, and kill and butcher some animals and even a Gruen. The priests of Grauel carry their portions of the Divine Stew* to the largest village and clean the Throne of Consumption* in preparation for Grauel's arrival.

Artisanii: The Muses mourn their dispersion and the coming loss of their friends for three nights, but do as you tell them. The builders begin traveling to the nearest Mountwyrm village, the playwrights and actors/actresses set out for the nearest Luminee settlement, the singers make for the Tree of Balance on World 2, and the painters scatter throughout the lands. Their initial works after settling down are plaintive and tragic, but as they become accustomed to their new conditions, they begin to express the whole spectrum of artistic emotion.

(The Light: -0 Essence)
The Hummingbirds and Luminees are enthralled by the large, glowing gem, and they decide to place it near the bottom, where it will be most helpful for anyone wandering out at night near such a dense tree in a dense forest. It becomes the center of story-telling for those living around the Tree.

Grauel materialized in his native form at the Throne of Consumption and feasts on the prepared offering.

Grauel: Your priests bow low on the ground for you. They do not seem to be afraid at all of being eaten if necessary. Some of them, however, seem to have wishes from the people that they want answered.

Grauel:
First priest: "A follower at my village wishes to be made even hungrier."
Second priest: "I want to be made even hungrier."
Third priest: "I want to turn into something like you."
Fourth priest: "I want a bowl of your fine saliva."
Fifth priest: "I want to be able to eat anything."
Sixth priest: "I want to be made into the next Stew instead of a heretic."

The Light: There is a murmur of assent among the present Luminees.
