I give Cim 1 Essence and drag him into the Human Plane.

Cim is no longer dormant.

"Thank you, Yaos. Having a being such as that one here is alarming, puzzling and interesting at the same time. The Null should barely be able to send raw energies through, much less creations with deadly power."

"One of the more trustworthy Null reports that none of them was behind this. According to it, they are as surprised as we are. If it speaks the truth, this is extremely troubling. I would investigate, but I don't dare with this low Essence. Would some other God?"

(Emergency action out of the way, time to write an actual post.)

The monsters have mostly been vanquished. A few appear once in a while, but not nearly enough to cause significant harm.
Would've been nice to know when I was deciding whether or not to bring some archangels over for protection. Oh well.

The gem dragon asks for a payment of 20kg/44lb of gold in advance for its services as an entertainer.
"Nu uh. I've seen what happens when Gem Dragons get 'paid in advance'. If you win the fight, I'll give you double what you're asking for. If you lose, you get half. Deal?"

The monsters have mostly been vanquished. A few appear once in a while, but not nearly enough to cause significant harm.

(Darruth: -3E)
10 paladins fight a generic angel. The generic angel gets bored after pretending that there is any challenge and wins. The paladins are irritated.
Wow! 10 combat-enhanced, unaging (and thus extremely experienced) soldiers in heavy armour armed with Fusil-made flamethrowers against a single angel and they got curb-stomped? Very unexpected. See how well 10 Paladins do against a Controller Angel (decreased combat ability and aging) and pit one generic angel against 50 Paladins. The angels are told not to be such dicks if they beat their sparring partners. It's disrespectful.

So what organisation did the Psymental Angel give the Duondio to? Ninjas? Paladins? Inquisitors? Other? How old is he and how has his training been going? What's his name? (So I can stop calling him the 'Duondio'. I really don't like that name.)

The Psymental Angel attempts to ascertain what all the riots in Keshan are about, in Human cities, specifically. How can I throw Azem a festival when there's riots going on?

The two spare generic angels continue guarding Yao-.........

Yaos turns male.

"JEFFREY! WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU WHEN TYKKI ALMOST KILLED ME!?"

Azem appears where the rioting in Mountwyrm territory is worst.

I guess I could check what attacked...
I'll carefully head to where Cim got shot, keeping a shield up to deflect projectiles.
And I'll bring Nuparhi and Angela along just in case.

(Kli: That was in chronological order, and you are essentially observing multiple points in time at once because of the one-challenger-at-a-time thing.)
The Hummingbird Philosopher enters and seems to think for a moment before continuing inward.
The Lost Wood Elf walks in, looks around, lays out a bed of special cotton, and sleeps.
The Luminee Pilgrim strides into the labyrinth and prays for guidance.
The Hummingbird Monk flutters in and observes the footsteps before continuing.

What do they see?

Yaos:
Quartz Dragon: "Deal, I guess."

The dragons fight. Most of the Ikakus' energy blasts are reflected or transmit through the quartz dragon, forcing both to fight claw-to-claw. Both of them withdraw out of exhaustion.  :P

The 10 paladins, annoyed at having been beaten before, slaughter the controller angel. The controller angel is now annoyed, but the 10 paladins are pleased.

A generic angel fights 50 paladins. The 50 paladins win.

(I'm not exactly doing these death battles with much thought by necessity, so don't expect the results to hold up in more serious situations.)

The Duondio seems to be in the care of the Inquisition. I'm not sure how much time has passed, but let's just say he's now 7 or 9 or so.

The riots on Keshan seem to be about bored adolescents wanting something to do, outrage over random murders, the poor wanting food, scandals involving the local governors, and more contrived things.

Jeffrey appears. "Hiding, Yaos. I'm not as strong as even your weakest angels." He looks around for a second at what he imagines are frowning angels.

"Not that there are any of those here."

Azem:
You appear at a Mountwyrm capital, where many are rioting for assorted reasons with a greater focus on shinies. The rioting pauses for a second and continues again.

Serac:
You wait for a while, but there is nothing.

The Shiny Ones are sent to the fighter plane to relax, and maybe learn something.

Azem distracts them with shinies.

Are there any riots out on the islands?

Cim, there was nothing there... Are you cursed or something?
