That was just before Harold jumped up and gave his (rather loud) speech.

: "Pretty sure we're all going, Harold. Can't exactly go around destroying bizarre artifacts without Fearless Leader."

"Simple. As soon as we know where he's at, Senija and I are going to go get on Ranzen and we're going to go find Tomik and we're going to rain seven different kinds of hell on anyone who tries to stop the pair of us. Right Sen?"

"'Atta girl, that's the attitude I like to hear."
Kyle stands and takes a moment to stretch.
"Welp, I'm gonna come as well. I may argue with him but he's a better man than me and I'd feel guilty if he got hurt when I could do somethin' about it. Though, maybe not on the wyvern..."

[Powder Miner]

Senija nods at Lillian, still shaken but at least thanks to Harold's HEROIC SPEECH and Lilly's encouragement rearing to go out and fight.
:"Y-yeah! If they get in our way I'm gonna turn them into giblets!"

Lilly gave Kyle a thumbs up in appreciation of his support, though she didn't turn to look at him as she was responding to Senija at the same time.

"Damn right."

"There's nothing we can do until these guys figure out where Ixion's encampment is, though. It's going to be tough to get unwound right now but I think we ought to get some rest while we can, so we're at full strength when we can make our rescue."

"OK, Sen?"

Senija nodded and sighed.
:"O-Okay, Lilly.""

[SeriousConcentrate]

Lilly gave Senija a quick hug.

"Look... I know being separated from your brother is going to be hard. But I'm here for you, got it? If you need anything you come to me, OK?"

Even if they weren't related by blood - or even by law, yet - Lilly was determined to be a better sister to Senija than she ever had been to Ivy.

[Haspen]

Laura finally snapped out of it enough to make an expression.

"Th-they took Tomik!?"

It was an expression of true depression and horrific despair.

[Ochita]

Albert had gasped when Tomik vanished, and looked on with dread at the events unfolding, until the bishop brought that staff to him. Examining it without touching it, he looked up at the Bishop, disbelief in face.
  "Th-This isn't one of the first healing staves, is it?"

[Solymr]

: That's correct. This is one of the legendary Fortify staves. Usually kept safe and away from greedy hands since a single use of one is enough to turn the tides in a battlefield, but at the high price of not being able to produce any more. That could change with the Heart of Bor that you brought though. Although it will take time to master, you have returned the ability to produce these and other powerful staves to Alberal, and for that, Albert, I bestow this Fortify staff upon you.

Cedric carefully placed the staff in Albert's hands.

[Powder Miner]

She nodded again, and then hugged Lilly back.
:"Alright. Thank you. ...I'm glad you're here, Lilly."

[Ochita]

Alberts hands trembled and a shiver went up his spine as he realized how powerful this staff was. Hopefully he would keep his wits about him..
  "I... I can't... I can't use this. Its.. Its not just that it's too important, but.. I can't. I've read about this, and to be able to use it one must've dedicated themselves fully to healing staves, and, I, havent... Not enough."

[Solymr]

: Oh, don't worry about it. I was once like you, preoccupied about my dedication and worried that I wasn't ready. Yet I was able to master both the light of justice and the light of healing, and I believe you can do it too, with time and dedication. But I understand that there's not enough time for that now, so I've decided to bring you a little extra help.

Cedric pulled a small translucent crystal from his pocket, and handed it to Albert.

: This crystal holds the key to unlocking your potential, maybe not fully, but enough so that you can use this gift I have given to you. Now, Albert, will you keep dedicating yourself to the light as much as you have until now?

Albert gets Staff Crystal + Fortify!

[Ochita]

Albert stood like that for a moment, before shutting his mouth and nodding.
  "I.. Yes. I, Albert Rudolph dedicate myself to the light, as I always have. Thank you, Cedric. This.. This means a lot."

[Solymr]

: Don't worry about it, son. I have seen strong potential in you, and let me tell you, this won't be the last time we meet. Unfortunately I need to prepare for the emergency meeting. Oh! But before I go, take this too. Cedric placed another staff on Albert's hands, that were getting a bit overloaded, and left.

Albert gets Physic!

: I should go too then. I'll see you all when I get out! We'll talk about what happens next then. Nikolai followed behind Cedric.
