Ketsuki withdrew the needles and sat back a little.

"No, she did not. She was like me in that aspect. She took to it with vigour... flinching if you're wounded is not something you want to do in an arena. It leaves an opening."

[Ochita]

  "Ah.. I think I see. W-Well, is this all we were going to do today?"

[GiglameshDespair]

"Unless you wish to continue, then I suppose so."

Lilly sighed at the lack of results, but then, she knew she really shouldn't have expected much better. Alberal loved its hymns and standards, but at times like these people were more likely to be worrying and praying than anything. She put her guitar on her back and slid her pick into her wristband.

"I guess we won't find much here. Want to go for a walk, Kyle? We can..."

The bard trailed off as she realized she really didn't know what the large pirate might want to do.

"...take a look at the weapon shop?"

[Twinwolf]

Catherine looks around, trying to find a member of the party. She was new, so she probably shouldn't be the one deciding purchases.

[Ochita]

Albert almost enthusiastically nodded, only barely managing to appear neutral.
  "Y-Yeah. I think I'm done for today."

[Sirus]

Harlan looked up as Catherine wandered by. He had been contemplating the possibility of cutting some nobleman's purse, but the man was surrounded by alert bodyguards. Damn war was making everyone paranoid. Deciding to hunt for an easier mark, he joined the mage's wanderings.

: "Looking for anything in particular?"

[Twinwolf]

"People in the group. I browsed the shops, since I thought we'd probably be needing supplies soon." Catherine responds, showing him the list of things and prices in her notebook.

[Sirus]

The thief examined the list. Lots of expensive items, it seemed.

: "Well, we can't get everything. Let's start with you; what could you use?"

[Twinwolf]

"While that Guiding Ring would be nice, I think a new tome would be better. This one won't last forever. I specialize in Fire ones, so Singe would work well."

[Sirus]

: "An extra weapon would probably be more useful in the short term, yeah. I don't know what everyone else could use though; we'll check in on them tonight. Should I assume that you're going to be staying with the group, now that you're taking on shopping duties?"

As the duo talked, the thief kept his eyes open for an easy mark.

"Sure, why not?"

"I intend to stay, yes."

Harlan waited for a moment for her to continue speaking...but she didn't.

: "Any particular reason? You'd probably be safer here in this city than wandering around with us."

[Solymr]

Unfortunately for Harlan, the few people that wandered around in the middle of a city expecting an attack didn't have on them much more than the armor they were wearing.
