Harlan smashed his fist against a nearby wall.

: "ENOUGH of this useless bickering. Either stay here and pick each other's noses or grab your gear and get moving. Whichever group did this will have eyes watching, which means that they know that we know about the situation. If we take too long to get moving, they'll assume that maybe we don't care enough and they'll start sending us friendly little nudges. In the form of Lilly's fingers. Do you want that? I don't. We can sort out some sort of unnecessarily-complicated rescue plan once we get the damn thing. As for how we'll know what to get, that's my brother's job. Just do your damn job and keep him safe while he figures the damn temple out."

((I think we...are on the move. Implying that we're talking on the move. I'm unsure :/))
Alessa coughed.

     "Hence my point earlier--we'll form a plan when we get there. Suggestions beforehand are always welcome, though."

~~~~Chapter 3x: The Lost And The Damned~~~~

The kidnapping of Lillian forced the group to turn back on their steps and return to the place where they last fought with Rajik and his gang, to where the temple where they first met Harold was.

The group arrived to the entrance of the temple in the middle of the desert. They passed through the place they fought a battle not long before, but no signs of it other than a few weapons and pieces of armor scattered.

: All right, we're here... Be careful, just the entrance corridor can be dangerous.

Harold lead the party inside, where it was dark and cold.
This time Lillian heard the voice from behind her.

Looks like you're a lucky girl, dear... They are following my instructions after all. I will have to keep an eye on them to see if they succeed on their quest...

[Swordstar]

Walking near the front of the group, Tomik pointed at Harold.

"You're in the lead. You and Harlan need to keep an eye out for traps and since you're the one who's investigated some of this place already, there's no reason for you to not stay at the front."

[Sirus]

: "Guess I'll go first. Harold, you stick close behind and tell me which way to go."

[Solymr]

: Alright, I should know my way around it...

Everyone went deeper inside the temple, but Harold was starting to look worried.

: Something ain't right. This place is changed, it looks a little more crumbled than usual, like someone triggered a trap... But we weren't away for long, and monsters aren't that dumb.

[Sirus]

: "Well, we'll just have to take it slow then."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Impressive that any traps could have lasted this long. Not just magic, but presumably mechanisms as well.."

[Solymr]

: ... Anyways, let's move. I can try to figure out which way to go on the move.

The group moved forward until they reached a crossed path. They had to choose: left of right?

: "...flip a coin?"

"I always preferred to take the left, when given the option."

"Is this a bad time to mention I'm afraid of the dark?"

"Don't worry. When a monster tries to swallow you whole, you're large enough it might choke."

[Sirus]

: "Assuming it doesn't spit him out from the taste. Anyway, left sounds as good as anything."

"We could light a torch for you, or just stick close enough to see each other. In any case, left sounds fine."
