Albert noticed Harlan's coughing fit, and on noticing the axe wound in his side, gave a small gasp. Moving up close, he held the healing staff close, and whispered a prayer, taking care not to raise his voice in case the soldiers heard him.

Well open the damn door already!

The guard opens the door, only to see Laura standing in the middle of the hallway, giving her (rather sheepish) explanation.

Oh, that's all? Well, go do some other chore and don't stand there doing nothing, that's our job.

The guard closes the door again and goes back to do his job.

: Whew, that was close. Anyways, I was considering blasting down door number 3, but after our little stunt I don't think they're gonna fall for that again. Harlan, do you still have that lockpick I gave you?
