The sound of her brother and her sister-in-law conversing seemed to settle Senija's glee down to a more thoughtful contentment, and she looked at Harold searchingly for a moment.
Eventually, once she was sure he'd come down enough to listen, Senija began to speak.
:"Uh, Harold, I started thinking about something. When this is all over, do you mind if I show you Dargas? Cause... you know, I was thinking, we're together and all, so we could spend a little time. Though I guess we could do that pretty much anywhere, too, 'cuz I can take you lots of places on Ranzen, hehehe."

Thunk, when the Saunion's shaft. Laura stopped before Tomik and Lily. _{And others too, but they're less important.}

"So okay, if this is time for goodbyes, let's be quick. Goodbye." She looked at Lily.

"Did you tell him my secret or no? To be honest, I think he should know."

"No, I'm not in the habit of blabbing other people's secrets if I can help it. But, uh, if you have something you want to say, go ahead."

Laura looked at Tomik, back at Lily, then back at Tomik.

Then she took a comically long breath.

Then she cleared her throat and looked into Tomik's eyes.

"I was in love with you since the very first day but Lily got you first and all mean things I did or said to her was because I was jealous that she and not I, was your girlfriend... Sorry."

: Hehe, yeah of course! Harold's smile faded a bit when he turned to look at another party member. There's... something I need to do first though.
Micheal, Phineas, Jacob and the General arrived shortly after, looking at the scene surrounding the Waygate.

: It's over then...

: The king, huh? It's a sad day for Ixion, but we need to get to work as soon as possible. This battle may be over, but there's still fighting going on in other places.

: We'll also need to get back to Alberal to repair the damage this war has done.

: My apologies for that. If I had been more keen, maybe I could have stopped it earlier.

: No need to worry yourself over some ifs. For now, these people, or should I say heroes, need to rest. Very well then, shall we help you out of this place? Nikolai's ship has been hovering over us for some time now, I bet he's quite impatient.

: "Yeah, I'm sure he is," Harlan said, still chortling. "Let's get out of here...and celebrate! If saving the world doesn't earn you some free ale then nothing will."

Kyle looks up at the mention of drinks."I'm down for resting and booze."

Lilly looked over at the guys.

"Some rest would be nice, but I think I'm going to have to sit out on the drink."

"I can provide the entertainment, though! Just leave the music to me!"

  "You're right Ketsuki, this is a time of triumph. Cmon, I think the rest are thinking of celebrating."

Standing from his kneel, Lamden nodded towards Anne-Laude.
: "Aye." He lowered his once-cursed arm down towards Mason in an offer to help him up, "Let us be done with this sordid tale, and move on."

Senija followed Harold's gaze, and her own expression sobered up a bit, and she nodded at Harold.
:"I understand... do whatever you have to do, okay, Harold? Take whatever time you need. I'm not going to take that away from you."

Mason took Lamden's arm and rose to his feet.

: Thanks. I guess I'll travel the continent for a while after this.

: We still have a city to recover, but at least now we have time.

: That's the spirit! I believe we'll have something to discuss about Auroch, but for now, this one is on me.

Phineas raised his hand and called his own magic. A few seconds later the whole party was warped to the airship's deck.

: Ugh, I'm too old for this kind of trips...

: You did it! Now where shall we go to celebrate?

: Uhh... Head over to Ixionia. We still need to send couriers to spread the news.

Nikolai nodded and started heading back. The sun was setting by now, a great view from the railings could be seen.

: Lillian, you made it out fine, am I right?

: Thanks, Senija. I promise not to make you wait.

Harold walked over to Harlan.

: So, bro, you have any place in mind?
