"I'm just going to assume they did, yeah. He's got better sense than to steal from a shop when everyone's on edge."

Lilly slid off Modra's back.

"You wanna walk around a little, enjoy the forest?"

A barkeep brought the two the house special since neither had really specified what drink they wanted - alcoholic, something of a fruity taste. Not particularly great, but good enough that the alcohol isn't the only reason to drink it.

"So, story time then... I was going about my mother right? Where to start...

Well, she was getting around that age, where... nosy, lets say, parents start asking their girl when she's going to get married. Her parents were that kind." Catherine took a sip. "So she was hitting 18. She'd never responded to any suitors, and she didn't seem to have any intent to. So, her parents talked with a couple of family friends - they had a son, who hadn't tried with any women yet." she paused, letting Harlan give any input he wanted to.

"Fair enough. Lets stick with that assumption. And of course. You know that I'll do whatever you want me to do."

[Sirus]

: "Her parents were a bit too eager for grandkids, basically? I know the type."

Lilly took Tomik's hand and set off for the widest path through the trees so Modra could follow if she wanted.

"Anything, huh?"

She let him realize what he had just agreed to for a few seconds before laying off.

"Got any good stories of you and your sister growing up?"

[Twinwolf]

"Pretty much, yeah. So they did this without telling her, until it was the day they were arranged to meet. Pretty normal so far, right?

The thing was, the man's parents didn't tell him either. So he wasn't expecting that he had any plans that day, and when his parents told him, he was a bit busy - putting a fire spell into a tome. So he's surprised, but he's obedient to his parents and gets ready quickly. But he's rushing, and when he puts away the unfinished Fire tome he doesn't put it in a proper container - he puts it in the bag he was bringing with him."

Harlan looks just a bit blank. The intricacies of tome-crafting are unknown to him.

: "That's not the smartest thing to do, I take it." He sipped at his drink, grimacing internally at the fruity flavor. At least it seems to pack a decent punch.

[Powder Miner]

Senija was broken out of her reverie when Harold approached, smiling and waving at him before she lapsed back into thought briefly once he asked her what she was pondering.
:"Hiya Harold! Oh, I was just noticing Ketsuki and Albert as I was leaving the inn, going together into--"
The train of thought finally seemed to click together for her, and she realized just what exactly she was telling Harold.
:"_{into, uh... wait, nevermind.}"

: Oooh, so those are the two Tomik was talking about... _{Albert though? I wouldn't have guessed...} But anyways, wanna take a look around town? I still got some money left after the gift we got for the newlyweds.

Harold checked his money pocket, which was slightly lighter than he remembered.

: ... And after my brother borrowed some for his date. Dammit, Harlan, you could have asked. Harold's tone didn't indicate serious annoyance though.

[Powder Miner]

:"Hehe... lots of dates around here recently, huh? Oh, that's fantastic!" She stood up. I wouldn't mind going and doing a little shopping! I don't have anything to do really, and it is actually pretty nice to hang out with you, hehehe..."

[Solymr]

: Hehe, I feel the same. Where do you want to go first? If a jeweler was open in these times, other shops have to be as well.

[Powder Miner]

:"Ummm... like I said earlier, honestly I just wanna get something new to wear, you know? Now that I have time to worry about it, I think it would just feel really nice to have something clean on me."

[Solymr]

: Alright, let's go look around.

The two of them went around the town. Although most places were closed, they eventually found an open tailor shop.

: This place seems fine, and it's open. How about here?

[Powder Miner]

:"Oooh, yeah, this place does look nice! Here, lemme just... look around for a bit."
Senija looked around the store for a couple of things, and literally just a couple. She would want a new shirt and new riding pants if the tailor had any, considering how much her current set had been through. And then... she would find a dress! Nothing fancy, just a nice simple dress, but Harold had seemed interested in the idea earlier.

: Yeah, it does. In fact... I might look at some things as well.

Harold started looking at jackets and shirts that would fit him while Senija looked for her stuff. His cloak was starting to get old.
