Harlan approached Harold again, wiping away imaginary tears and throwing an arm across his brother's shoulders.

"I never thought I'd live to see this day...my little bro, all grown up..."

Harold slowly started going red again.

: ... You heard the whole thing, didn't you? Well, tease me all you want, she said yes! Harold tries his hardest to appear to not care, but his increasingly tomato face betrays him.

Senija blushed a little bit and rubbed her cheek a little nervously when Harlan teased Harold, but it didn't seem that she really saw that much reason to be super embarrassed.

Harlan ignored his brother, looking Senija (who appears to still be there) directly in the eye.

"Why, I remember when you asked out Little Suzy back when you were, oh, five or so. You tried to give her a handful of worms, if I remember correctly. Or were they beetles? Point is, she ran away screaming! I'm glad to see you've graduated from bugs to actual words, even if it did take twenty years or so."

Harold pulled out one of his books, opened it and put it in front of his face in a bad attempt to hide.

I totally do not recall that. I believe it went a bit differently...

"Oh yes, now I remember. You didn't just "give" the bugs to Suzy. You dropped them. In her hair."

He gave Senija another crooked grin. "Honestly, to look at him now you'd never have guessed it, but he used to get flustered so easily. And when he got flustered, he became clumsy. Well, that happens to just about everyone. Point is, I'd make sure I'm holding on to him reeeeeally tight if I were the one flying him around up there, otherwise he might just faint and fall off."

"OK. That sounds good. Also, um. Do you know where this came from?

Lilly held the halberd up so Tomik could see it.

Harold buried his face further into the book.

Alright fine! But that's all in the past now, I got better at giving gifts. I already gave Senija a nice lance before, and nothing terrible happened!

Senija... clearly finds this funny, and though there is just a little bit of a giggle, fortunately for Harold's dignity she doesn't full on laugh at him.
:"Heheh, well, lucky for Harold here I'm not exactly the type of girl who would scare at worms to the hair."
Senija puts a finger to her lips in thought for a moment, before evidently deciding not to be afraid of being a little bit forward:
:"As for flying him around... well, holding onto him doesn't sound too unpleasant, but he's gone and blasted like three guys for me by now, I'm not afraid of him getting all faint!"

Reaching out Tomik took the lance from her and inspected it before shrugging slightly.

"No idea. Though it's a pretty decent lance. Do you mind if I keep it? Anyways, here, come on."

He lead her over to Modra, helping her up into the saddle. Taking a deep breath he pulled himself up into the saddle in front of her. The wyvern sprung up into the air and they were off. They soared through the sky, coasting around in the clouds, while Tomik did his best to gather his courage. Finally, after about 10 minutes of the floating through the sky, Tomik directed Modra down towards a wide ledge on the mountain. Sliding down, he offered his hand up to Lilly.

"I... I thought that maybe we could talk up here? If that's alright with you."

"Well, I'll leave you crazy kids to it." Harlan smiled a moment longer, but then his face resumed its normal expressionlessness.

: "But seriously, do keep a strong grip on Harold. I would hate to have to try to kill you if you dropped him. I'm not sure I'd win, for one thing, and I also happen to respect you and your brother."

Harold dropped to the grassy field, spreading his limbs to rest, book still on his face.

No need to be overprotective, Harlan, I will hold on tight. Thanks for being so reassuring, though.

:"Hehe, well, don't worry about me dropping your little brother. I've got a good grip! Well, like I said, in an hour or two, since I wanna go when Tomik won't be flying around, but still. I'm just happy to... sit and talk for a little while, you know?"

Senija sat close to Harold, and plucked the book from his face (this is how to be romantic right?), smiling.
:"Yeah, that seems nice to me."

: "Just want to make sure things are clear. If the two of you don't work out, well that happens sometimes. But if you go and get yourself killed while under her care, I'd have to seek vengeance. Nothing personal." The rogue rummaged through his bag of holding for a moment before handing a pouch of medicine to Harold. "Here, you two go ahead and patch yourselves up. Might as well let Albert concentrate on the more seriously wounded."

Harold smiled back at Senija, sitting up to take Harlan's medicine.

: I appreciate your concern and your medicine. Here... Harold proceeded to apply medicine to Senija's remaining wounds.
