"Ok. She just... well you seemed to be... It seemed like she was saying things that were making you happy or something. I was just wondering, that's all."

He blushed slightly, hoping that he wasn't sounding jealous or anything.

"Oh! Er, she just... liked my music. I was taken off-guard."

Lilly patted Tomik's shoulder, then returned her arms to around his middle, holding tight to make sure she didn't fall off.

"Anyway, it's OK. It's not a big deal."

Albert left the shop, shaking his head. While getting a new healing staff was tempting, he felt confident that his current one should last for just a biiit longer. As he left the shop, taking care to subtly avoid both Laura and Isbilya, he made his way to the now cooling body of the captain or leader of that army group. Kneeling beside it, Albert slowly prayed.
: "To those who have now lost their life in this world, please forgive us. May you find peace in the world's spirit.."
Standing up and dusting off his hands, Albert made the body look more presentable, before heading over to Lamden.
: "Hey, Lamden. When you're finished, could I grab you to talk about something?"

Ketsuki intorduced herself to the group at large.

"Greetings, my new and noble companions. I am Ketsuki, the Beatiful Blade or Killer Cyclops, as some of you have met me already. I will be accompanying you as you leave town, but I then I shall depart. I shall be heading to the Waygate. Someone I know went there a long time ago, and now I have the skills I need to go there too. I thank you for your assistance."

Ok, my last two javelins and a sword, that'd be 1620 gold, thanks. Anything else?

Laura gets Iron Javelin.

"I... ok. That's good. I like your music too. I mean... you knew that already. I just... you know. Wanted to say it again. For some reason. Anyways, being quiet now."

He shut his mouth, mentally berating himself for sounding so stupid.

"Well, it's not like I don't like hearing it..."

"Um, anyway, what way do you think we should go now?"

[Swordstar]

"My first instinct? Back home. I'm from such an isolated place... They'll never follow us all the way up to those mountains. But at the same time... That's ignoring everything that's going on in the world, so... I don't really know. What do you think we should do?"

"Better your town than mine, I think, but last I heard it seems like most of the group wants to head to Alberal. We should probably all stick together for our own protection."

[Haspen]

"I'm a deserter and a homeless. I will go whenever most of you want." Laura thought for a moment.

"Hopefully with Lilian in the group, if only to hear her singing!"

"I know it's the smart thing to do... Still, I guess so long as I have you to spend time with, it won't be so bad? I... Err, you all. You know, you, my sister, everyone else. That's what I meant. Just... forgot a word."

"It's OK. I knew what you meant. I think so too."

Lillian giggled. Tomik was certainly more easily flustered than she had thought he would be. It was kind of cute.

"I... yeah, that's what I meant. Glad you feel the same and all."

Geeze, what's going on with me? I need to chill out and quick. I mean, yes she's cute and nice but I shouldn't be getting this flustered. I'm just going to make a fool out of myself. Ugh, wonder if Senija has any advice. ... No, that's a bad idea."

"Maybe we should talk to the others, get a plan together. See where everyone wants to go."
