: That's... quite a story. And it's only the short version.

The other leaders were leaving by now and Lady Anne-Laude was waiting beyond the door for the rest to follow.

: Well, I should be going. It's good to see you again. Make sure to visit if you have the time, I'll have assimilated the story by then.

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Sorry, I didn't mean to leave you out. I was just trying to be brief..."

She turned back to Micheal.

"It was good to see you again. We'll catch up later."

Lilly gave him a brief hug, then trotted along to follow Anne, gesturing for the rest to follow.

Tomik had been quietly listening to the story Lilly was telling, wondering if she was going to introduce him or not. The answer was apparently not but it wasn't important enough to press. And there were more important things happening anyways. He headed into the room where Anne-Laude waited, hoping that things went smoothly here.

Harlan decides, after a moment's thought, to follow Michael unobtrusively.

Harlan followed Micheal, but he and the other generals blended together and making the effort to figure out where he was going will surely call the attention of a nearby guard and make Harlan lose time. Whether he would take the risk or not was up to him.

Meanwhile Anne-Laude led the group through the corridors that led to the room where the Archbishop was waiting for them. The way was very decorated with various paintings and sculptures, and surely behind some of the side rooms were some valuable treasures.

: Here it is... Archbishop?

Inside the room, a man with plain white robes listened to Anne-Laude's call.

: Lady Anne-Laude! I've heard the rumors and I was hoping they were true. It's great news to see you here!

He gave Anne-Laude a very effusive welcome, and gave the rest an amicable smile.

: Oh! You brought guests! Will you introduce me to them?

: Of course. These are the people that helped me survive the attack on Auroch. She turned to the group. This is the Archbishop of Alberal, our highest authority. Then she went introducing everyone personally to the Archbishop, who insisted on shaking each of their hands.

: Please, you don't have to refer to me by that long name. It's just Cedric Argent for all of you.

[Haspen]

Laura did make sure to shake the hand hard and briefly, without saying anything.

Lilly looked him over carefully. She hadn't met him before, but she could see a family resemblance; this man was most likely William's grandfather. When it was her turn to be introduced, she shook his hand with a friendly smile as custom dictated, but she was quick to return to Tomik's side.

At least once this is over and done with, I'll be going to Durga and leaving it all behind. A fresh start...

Albert gave a short bow, and nervously shook the Archbishops hand, stepping back and standing awkwardly.

When his turn came Kyle was sure to meet the handshake firmly and with a pleased smile. Finally someone with some manners.

After the introductions, Cedric turned to Anne-Laude again.

: Well, can I help you with anything else.

: Yes. I had a meeting with Phineas, the leader of one of Kizamo's cities. He has agreed to help Alberal resist Ixion's invasion, and they already sent Coriven help they needed. Nikolai here will be your contact with them.

: Pleasure to meet you!

: Same to you! Your help will be priceless, and I'm glad we could leave our differences aside. I just had a meeting with the generals of the army, I will have another one soon and I'd like you to be there to discuss our joint efforts. But will the message take too long to reach your people?

: We have our ways.

As they discussed some things in advance, Harold whispered to Albert.

: I think this is the perfect time to mention *that*. He said when the two were finished.

Harlan shadowed Micheal out of the Cathedral, watching him break apart from the rest of the generals to go down a calm street.

Micheal followed the street until he arrived to a house, not too fancy but not bad looking either. Just as he arrived some people were coming out, a woman, a boy and a girl. He gave them all a hug and lifted the girl up. The girl had a clear family resemblance, but the boy didn't look like any of the others.

Albert nodded at Harold, hand reaching into his robes, pulling out the heart of Bor, gripping it tightly.
  "Archbishop..? Cedric? I believe, this... Belongs at your church. It's The heart of Bor."

The Archbishop was surprised by the gem that Albert presented. He hovered his hands over it, feeling its warmth.
