: "Now why would you stereotype us Ixionites that way...?"

Glancing over at Senija, Tomik shrugged.

"I don't see any reason we couldn't help. So long as you're not asking us to try and stop ballista bolts with our bodies, I'm up for whatever. I've been known to take a hit or two in my time, so it shouldn't be any different than that."

He smiled a bit with his final words, clearly trying to make a bit of a joke.

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Huh. I didn't know you were one, Harlan. Either way though you're not military and Laura is, so she's got more in common with their army than you do."

And then she stuck her tongue out at Harlan to show she was just joking with him.

[Solymr]

: Alrighty then! The ship is lighter so we shouldn't take long to get going. Is everybody ready to fly out of here?

: Oh, one more thing.

Harold pulled out the Rune Key from his bag and gave it to Nikolai.

: You can lock this down now. Thanks for trusting me with it, I'll repay you when I can.

: ...Don't mention it. If anything I should be paying you the bounty he had on his head.

Nikolai went to the ship, both hands on the Rune Key, and before going inside he called out to the rest.

: Board whenever you're ready and make sure you have you don't forget anything!

[SeriousConcentrate]

Lilly boarded the airship and found a convenient crate to seat herself on, upon which she brought out her guitar and started tuning it.

"Hmmmm.... hm, hm hm.... No? Hm..."

[Swordstar]

Tomik followed behind Lilly, choosing to stay mounted for now. After all, he was quite likely going to be needed. May as well stay prepared.

Kyle shrugs and boards the ship.
"I guess that's a no..."

[Sirus]

: "Laura's bad taste has nothing to do with her former membership in the army or her nationality." But he only grumbled it to himself as he boarded the airship and looked for a place to keep his head down. Knives wouldn't be much good up here, after all.

[Haspen]

Laura glanced at Harlan and Kyle who boarded right after her, as she could swear she heard the thief grumble her name. Fortunately for him, neither did she hear the rest, nor there were any javelins in her hands currently.

[Powder Miner]

Senija rode Ranzen onto the ship.
:"I'd be happy to pull a diversion!"
:"Well, uh, as long as we're only talking about a plan that puts us -- me, my little brother I guess, and noone else at risk. I wouldn't like the guitar plan, even if it's a joke for example, 'cuz flying in combat is a loooot different than flying otherwise, and if we're in the midst of combat it'd be dangerous to do something like carry someone else. I mean, not impossible, but pretty risky..."

[Solymr]

Nikolai approached Tomik and Senija with two bags full of sealed glass containers.

: Alright here's what I want you to do.

He gave a bag to each sibling and pointed at the city gates.

: When I give the signal the mages will start a distraction on the ground. That'll give us enough time to get some air but they will quickly notice us and probably shoot us. You'll need to fly high and throw these smoke shooters as we rise.

Nikolai demonstrated how to set the smoke shooters off, accidentally smoking himself in the face.

: *cough* Anyways try to set some off in the air and some on the ground to cover us and the mages. When you're ready I'll give the signal.

[Powder Miner]

Senija paused for a moment, and looked troubled by something, but she didn't say anything immediately. It was only after a couple more seconds that she spoke.
:"Erm... what signal?"

[Swordstar]

Tomik grabbed the bag, hefted it, and shrugged. Tying it off to the saddle, he pulled on his helm and nodded.

"Lets do this."

[Solymr]

: This signal.

Nikolai hit a button on a machine that shot something up in the air. A few moments later a flash lighted up the sky, followed by a booming sound, leaving behind a red trail of smoke up high in the air.

: Well that's that. Off we go!

Nikolai went below deck, and soon the airship started its usual humming that indicated it was about to lift off. Meanwhile sounds of battle started coming from beyond the city gates.

:"Aaaah, here goes!"
Senija yanked her bag from Nikolai's hands and then set off of the ship with Ranzen.
