  "Harold.. I already do that. All I need is a healing staff for that." Albert stated, waving his staff from side to side slowly. Sighing, he nodded at Lilly. "Yeah, it's probably best to leave this place.."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Doesn't hurt to have a back-up though Albert. It's this way."

Lilly led the way out of the cave, back toward the plaza where they had left the airship...

Ketsuki regarded Albert a moment.
"Hmm. I expected... something. A flash of light, perhaps. Well, it matters not. As you say, Lilly, let us leave."

Tomik put his lance away and pulled himself up onto his wyvern. Settling back into his saddle, he began to consider their options for getting out of the city alive. The ship was their best bet, but he had worries about that one. Just because they didn't know how to react the first time didn't mean they would have that same problem a second time. This was going to take some consideration.

"Wait, before we get out of here..."
Kyle goes to grab the Twilight Walker's body.

[Solymr]

: Well... I don't know, we'll have to ask. Harold shrugged.

As they were on their way out, Harold noticed Kyle getting their deceased enemy's body.

: Huh, are you gonna bury him?

"Partially that, yeah. I also figure that if anyone has a way out of here that doesn't involve using a flying ship, it'd be him. I mean I'm hoping he kept some notes on it. I'm not actually going to ask the corpse."

[Solymr]

There were a few notes in his body, but they were indecipherable to the group.

: Oh yeah, that might be useful. Give them to Nikolai when we get back.

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Good thinking Kyle."

[Solymr]

Not long after, the group was back out, making their way towards Nikolai, who was nervously pacing about near the landed airship. When he noticed the approaching party, he ran to them.

: I'm so relieved you're alive! What happened with the Heart? Did he get it and escape? Are we all doomed?! So much for being relieved.

: Relax, old man, the plan worked out after all. Mister Chosen One over there has it.

: Plus, the Twilight Walker won't be bothering anyone again. That temple became his tomb.

Nikolai heaved a big sigh of relief and sat down.

: Phew. Now I'm really relieved. The old man seemed to have forgotten anything else that was currently happening.

Kyle drops The Twilight Walker on Nikolai like a dog that just retrieved a pheasant.
"We also got his notes and shit! You're smart and I'm not so I just put them back so you can rummage in his pockets on your own time!"

[Solymr]

: Oof!

: The notes thing was a good idea, but then...

: ...Yup.

After some time, Nikolai finished getting all the notes from the terrorist's corpse.

: I think I can make some sense of this to get some insight in teleportation but I need my equipment so I won't be able to use it to our advantage just yet.

: We'll need to use the airship to get to the capital, but the besiegers are probably already alerted and may try to stop us.

: I was thinking about that too. The mages that we brought with us will stay here and make a distraction while we go airborne. If our friends the wyvern riders want to help with the distraction too I have just the thing.

"Do we have any heavy objects here? Or like... I don't know, explosives? Then the people without wyverns can help."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"You know, I was thinking. Laura's an Ixionite, and she doesn't really like my music. So maybe I could just crank the volume all the way up and blast their ears while we fly overhead. It might send 'em all running away or at least for cover."

: Or it might motivate them to take us down at any cost.
