She bowed to Harlan.

"Indeed, I am Ketsuki, the Beautiful Blade or the Killer Cyclops, depending on how much you like me. I am pleased to make your acquaintance. I suppose the eye is rather distinctive, isnt it?"

She looked at the street full of dead and dying soldiers.

"Once this swollen pustule of humanity is dealt with I feel it may be wise to leave quickly. This was never overmuch of a friendly town, and I cannot admit I'm too sad to go. But first, I'm getting my pay."

She called to the rigger, hiding in the woods.

"Hear that! There's no escape, rigger!"

Harlan decided to just call Ketsuki by name, until he could decide whether he liked her or not.

: "Well, you're in luck. We were planning to leave anyway and one more person shouldn't slow us down. You could come along, if you wished."

When the rigger showed defiance, Harlan sighed in annoyance and gave Ketsuki a look.

: "Do you want to take the lead, or should I? I don't think we can afford to wait for him to come out on his own..."

"Hmm. We are both injured, and this vile goatspawn is doubtless to get in a blow. Are one of your noble companions a healer? That would sort this issue. I would certainly like to take his head for his treachery."

Harlan snorted in wry amusement.

: "Two healers. Unfortunately, at the moment they're both off chasing women."

: "His axe looks powerful, but its also pretty clumsy and has a hard time landing a solid blow. If you'd like, I can try to soften him up and you can finish the job."

"That would be most kind."

Albert, now noticing that pretty much all of the army had fled looked around, and saw Harlan and... Someone else? It was hard to get a good look but it seemed like they were both preparing to fight...

"All of the soldiers, yes, although maybe we should catch that running guy. Tie him up and leave him in a basement somewhere so he doesn't run around telling everyone where we are, and I'm sure Albert or Lamden could make use of his healing staff."

"A fine blow, Harlan. A fitting end for one such as him. The only shame is that I am not the one to deal the final blow."

"Ah well. Much like him, the matter is no longer of consequence."

Laura went up the stairs, noticing the swordswoman.

"Oh, so the swordsgirl is on our side? I thought she was one of the enemies."

She approached Ketsuki.

"Hi, I'm Laura!"
