As interesting as Asher found the giant corpse to be, he had no intention to actually getting within range of its demonic strength after seeing what they had done to Laura.

Kyle goes to E6 and helpfully strikes the monster. Unhelpfully he punches it's hand when it inevitably strikes back. Looks cool though.

Ketsuki rushes at the monster brandishing her master's former sword, and jumped holding it preparation for a downwards slash. At the peak of the jump, the sword started shining, leaving a trail of energy as Ketsuki swung down with all her might and neatly cleaved the abomination. Ketsuki landed, and the two parts of the monster fell aside and apart, leaving the way to the Waygate clear.
