Kyle looks around again to double check that everything is clear before taking a seat.
"Well... That was dramatic. But at least we're alive."

Tomik let out a deep sigh. Looking over at Ketsuki, he frowned, but figured that someone like Albert would be the better one to handle that. Instead, he quietly asked Lilly who had ended up near him,

"Lilly, I... I understand if you want nothing to do with me but... would you be willing to give me a few minutes of your time? I have some things I would like to say and... then I'll leave you alone if that's what you want."

Senija turned to stare wide-eyed between Tomik and Lilly -- this would either be a very necessary step or go very very poorly, and Senija was quite afraid of the latter.

Tomik winced.

"I just... we need time to rest after that anyways. And... I don't want to keep putting something off when we don't know what the future holds. But fair enough."

He gently saluted Lilly with his spear, and headed off away from the group, needing a bit of time to clear his head after all that had gone on.

With the danger over with for now, Asher slipped into full creepy scholar mode. A look of excitement appeared on his face as he approached Ketsuki's master's body.

"Amazing! An undead that retained part of its humanity!" Just imagine if I could replicate it!

Something in the back of his mind kept him from immediately prodding it and told him to ask for permission. He turned towards Ketsuki and promptly blanked on her name.

"Er, miss swordswoman, may I examine the body?"

Ketsuki was snapped out of her reverie. She didn't like the grin on the scholar's face.
"...examine?"

Senija let out a sigh at the lack of resolution of her brother's issues, and tottered off to go simply sit down right in the middle of the hellscape, now that the adrenaline was wearing off and she was beginning to feel her wounds, propping herself up with her arm.

"I'd like to try and see what sort of magic was animating him. I've never come across an undead with any part of their humanity in my studies."

Asher's smile faded.

"None of them had their humanity."

"And aren't you curious at all about what animated your master in the first place? All I want to do is search for lingering magical energies."

"Only so much as to know what it is I'm going to kill. "
She sighed and relented.

"You can peer at him, but don't touch him."

Kyle assuming Senija is near Kyle he turns to her.
"Hell of a fight. Hehe, 'hell of a fight'."
Kyle sits there, amused at his choice of words.

Catherine sits and looks around again, taking her notebook out of her pocket.

This place is so... interesting. I've never seen anything like it. Catherine thinks, writing down observations she has made.

Catherine also notices Asher's conversation with Ketsuki, and makes a mental note to talk to her fellow scholar when he's done over there.
