Crying continued, albeit at a slightly quieter volume.

"...It looks like the 'pretend' part wouldn't be necessary. And what then? We have no weapons."

"We have a floor and numbers, and the guard would have weapons for us to take."

"Oh, is drama hour is over for now?" She shrugged at the idea. "They may not care about us being alive that much. If they've half a brain between them they wouldn't open the cell without sufficient numbers."

: Well... At first I thought they meant training for soldiers, using the prisoners as targets like the rumors say, but...

Mason stopped and looked at the group.

: I found out they actually train the prisoners and indoctrinate them to join the Ixion military.

Mason took a deep breath.

: We got out soon enough, but you know how they've been sending a lot of people there for crappy reasons?

: Probably half of the Ixion military are random low life thugs who got armed and trained because the king needed more meatbags for the war.

[SeriousConcentrate]

"What's that Senija? Oh. I'm already finished with her."

Lilly completely dismissed Laura with a gesture from the back of her hand. When the conversation turned to fighting, she nodded.

"I don't need a weapon. It'll sap my energy to do so, but I can cast magic without needing any implements like a tome or a staff. So if there's only one guard, I could probably take care of him. Then someone can get his weapon and we can go from there."

Ketsuki mentioned multiple guards.

"Yeah, that would be a problem. It's not like we have all that many options, though."

Then Mason spoke.

"I see. That makes sense."

Albert just continued to hug Laura, even offering one of his sleeves to her to dry her eyes on.

"Have you noticed how many fight's we've gone into against people with more than sufficient numbers? Besides, only one of them could come through at a time so we'd just need to have someone block the door. By which I mean, Tomik because they forgot to take his armor for some reason."

[GiglameshDespair]

Ketsuki raised an eyebrow at Albert's continued cling, but didn't comment on it.
"Then it would seem you're our main fighter for now." she said to Lilly. "Still, we might as well try. The worst that can happen is we die, so..."

[Sirus]

: "You idiot. What makes you think theywouldn't have armor? Hell they probably have armor that's better than any of our's."

[Haspen]

Laura finally decided to stop crying, used Albert's Helpful Sleeve^(tm) to wipe her cheeks, hugged her knees and went into silentmode.

"That's why we smash them into the floor and stomp on them. If they are still in condition to get up after taking a nasty spill, stomping them will keep them down. Especially if they have helmets, then the helmet would ring around their head and..."
Kyle trails off as he mumbles about ways to take out armored people.

"So you're just going to give up because of 'maybe' and 'what if', Harlan?"

All the drama was starting to annoy Asher to the point where he just wanted out of this cell and to be away from these loonies; damn the consequences

Without even a word of warning, he began his summoning ritual. He still wasn't all that experienced so he couldn't summon anything overly amazing but, at least, it would be armed. When he finished there was what appeared to be an animated set of armor that, after a short pause, charged at the door.

"Ooooor that will work too, yeah."

"Let's do this."
