Suddenly, a horn is heard, and the few remaining enemies start retreating as fast as they can.

Allied Phase

Harold moves to C2.
Anne-Laude moves to C3.

Harold reached the secret door and tried pushing it. It didn't budge.

: It's gotta have a mechanism of some sort. How do you activate it?

: You have to press a panel on the wall next to it.

Harold tested the walls until he found a brick that could be pushed. He pushed it but it still wouldn't budge.

: That guy must have blocked it from the other side. Stand back!

Harold blasted the brick off, revealing a jammed mechanism. He tried to fiddle but it wasn't possible to remove the jam by hand.

: Screw it.

Harold sent a dark blast inside, exploding and sending gears and splinters all over. He started pushing the door again and it slowly opened, until the opening was enough for a person to go through.

: You go first. I'll be right behind you.

Anne-Laude nodded and went inside. Harold turned to the rest of the group.

: We'll be waiting for you on the other side if we can!

And with that Harold went inside. But something else was happening...
Meanwhile, General Ironside was watching his men retreat.

: Alright, they're far enough to start plan B. It's a shame, such a beautiful building. Fire!
Suddenly an explosion was heard, tremors shook the church, and it started collapsing. Parts of the walls and ceiling started falling at the back of the church, almost crushing Lillian. The altar area became shrouded in a cloud of dust and dirt, engulfing the party.

After the dust settled, the party was uninjured and the church was still standing, but it looked like it could crash down on them at a moment's notice. But they came out of it with only a few scratches, except...

The back door and the tunnel had collapsed, and no sound was coming from the other side.

General Ironside's voice resonated inside the half destroyed building.

: This is your last chance! Surrender peacefully or I'll give the order to collapse this whole building on top of you! What do you choose?
