"Hmm? No, I was just wondering why you take the stance of resenting all criminals equally. Is it an Ixion thing?"

"The seventh paragraph of Ixionese Criminal Code states 'all accounts of a crime are equal no matter the perpetrator's motives, upbringing, age, education, religious stance and skin color.' I was taught that at the prison during the lectures. As for myself? I do believe that this is right thing."

"Ixion sounds awfully strict. Not that it matters to me, I suppose, considering I probably can't go back there. I suppose I'll just wander Alberal and maybe Dargas."

"There's enough countryside I haven't seen in either country to last me a few decades at least."

[Haspen]

"Ixion is a good place. It's the foreigners that grew up in different culture and see it as some worst place of all places." Laura's eyes looked down at the floor.

"And I will never be able to return to it, huh..." With that, and some CLONK CLONK noises, she departed to have a solitary walk somewhere close by.

Lilly stood and followed. It was pretty easy, given Laura's extremely loud armor that slowed her down. She followed in silence for a few moments.

"Sorry. That was thoughtless of me. But look, it's not really safe for any of us to be alone. I kinda learned that the hard way in Kizamo. I can understand if you don't want to talk to me, but will you at least come back to the group? I'm already worried enough Lamden went out on his own."

[Haspen]

"Well isn't Lamden some kind of war hero or legendary commander here or something? I didn't really listen, but he has his duties and gotta run around the town, doesn't he?" Laura looked at Lily, sighed pretty heavily, and then turned around and clonked her way back to the church.

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I suppose he is, but he also has a broken arm that has yet to heal. I'll feel better once the whole group is together again."

Lilly looked down.

"Speaking of the group and going off on one's own, what do you suppose happened to Mason? I hope he's all right. Wherever he is and whatever he's doing."

[Haspen]

"Mason?" Laura thought for a moment.

"Um, do you wish for me to be honest or...?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"At the very least you deserve to be able to speak your mind."

[Haspen]

"Well I wouldn't be surprised if he is dead by now, you know. He was a terrible fighter and trouble seemed to actively seeked him out. So, yeah."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Mmm. Maybe you're right. I hope not, though."

"It... might have helped to have some... less flashy robes."

Incidentally, Lilly uses her Mark to promote to Lore Master.

[Haspen]

"Less flashy?"

"W-Wait a moment, you're not going to strip down to underwear and silky strips like one of these shady dancer ladies from the mainland right now, are you??" Her voice was raised as she was indeed a little scared at he possible prospect.

[SeriousConcentrate]

"W-What? No! I don't even know how to dance!"

I could probably use some new clothes though...

"Anyway, I meant, um, Mason's robes. They were bright canary yellow. Earth tones might have suited him better."

[Haspen]

"Riiiiight..."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"What's that supposed to mean? I-I just play the guitar, and sing. I don't dance. I mean, I might move with the music a little, but it's not dancing. That's all... waltz, and stuff."
