Laura thought for a moment.

"So... you and Lily then...?"

[Swordstar]

"She said that she didn't want to be with me and that I was better off without her. Sure she may be apologizing now, but that's only until the next time she decides she doesn't want me to know about her or that I'm better off without her or that whatever she's done in her past means that I deserve better, or whatever. I could try and fight for her, but we all saw how well that went. Seems like the better solution is just to accept that what she's saying is true and be without her."

[Haspen]

"Technically then... you are free?"

Masterplan began to brew.

[Swordstar]

"I guess? Not exactly something I want to think about right now. Too soon I guess plus all the other stuff that's going on."

[Ochita]

Once needletime had finished, Albert left, making his way over to the church. With any luck maybe he could find Lamden to see how he's doing.

[Haspen]

"Oh? Oh. No that's not what I meant but... I hoped that maybe you could master your combat skills to take your mind off... heart issues? I heard there are some wyvern riders who wield both lances and swords in combat, you could try achieve that!"

Laura's cheeks briefly reddened.

"I'm sure that, um, Ketsuki, could give you pointers, she is a professional, after all..."

[Swordstar]

"Err. Right. Yeah, I should probably work on my other weapons at some point. I have some training in all three of the basic weapons thanks to mercenary work but I've always been most comfortable with a lance. We'll see. Maybe I'll talk to her at some point."

[Haspen]

"Uh-huh." Laura wasn't a great conversationalist but she did try.

"...Sorry, I'm not sure what to talk about." Just because she tried wouldn't mean she succeeds every time!

[Swordstar]

"It's alright. We should probably try and find the others soon. Figure out what exactly we're doing. I... wasn't exactly paying attention to the lady earlier either."

[Haspen]

"Thanks for listening all the time I need to voice my issues, though! I really appreciate it." And then she gave him a hug.

"So, shall we go?"

After a few moments, Lilly looked up at Kyle.

"I guess we ought to get back to the others. Someone might be worried about where I'm at, after the last time I went off by myself... Anyway. You went to meet Lamden's..."

She trailed off, unsure what this woman was to Lamden. It took a few moments for her to settle on a term.

"...friend with everyone else, right? Can you show me the way there?"

Kyle nods and gestures for Lilly to follow him as he makes his way to the church.

Lilly nodded back and fell into step beside Kyle, looking around the city as they walked back to the church to meet up with everyone.

Catherine looks at the Guiding Ring. She felt it was very powerful, and could probably make her powerful too... but not just yet. She wasn't quite ready for it. She put it away with the other things, and headed back to the church.

Lamden remained in the church, quietly kneeling in front of the grand statue of the Alberan Sun God, Luso. Cracking an eye open, he looked up.
: "...Hm. I suppose I should take a look. Though, they did believe me dead..."
Lamden attempted to bring himself back to his feet and turned to the south, but only managed to make it two steps before seeing Kyle, Lily and Catherine.
: "Ah, Kyle, Lady Lilian and Lady Catherine. Apologies, I haven't quite been a host, have I? I believe the deliberation will be a while longer."
