Lilly looked down.

"I thought he might be. I just... I just don't want anyone to get hurt. I do care for him quite deeply. I just... I don't know."

Senija thought out Lilly's word with a growing grimace.
:"Even if we didn't mess around here or don't in Coriven... I think it's a little late for that, Lilly. We've been involved in whatever... chaotic, complicated mess this is becoming for a while now, and I'm pretty sure that no matter what we do from this point out it's gonna be dangerous."

Lilly sighed.

"I didn't mean it like that. I meant, between us. You, me, Tomik, all of us. You know?"

:"Um... maybe? If you mean... personally?"
THIS was much less sure ground for Senija.

"Yes. There are things about me that... I don't know how Tomik would take them. He might feel betrayed. I don't know if I could take him rejecting me... so... I thought maybe this way there would be less pain for both of us. But it hurts all the same, and I worry if maybe I'm making a stupid mistake because I'm not putting enough faith in him. You know, maybe a little pain now is better than a lot of pain later, but maybe this could all turn out all right if I tried harder. I just... it's all confusing."

Senija took a few moments before she even started to reply, trying to figure out exactly what to say.
:"Well, it's like... Tomik isn't the sort to just... abandon people he cares about? Like... I don't think he would just... go from caring about you to just... pushing you away. He... well... he does love you. Plus... you know how you said you couldn't take him rejecting you...? Turn that around, and that... well, that's Tomik right now."

Lilly looked down.

"...I'm always doing stupid things, y'know? The wrong things. Things that I don't know how to go back and fix. Sometimes I think that... maybe everything would turn out better for everyone if I wasn't involved."

She sighed deeply, glancing at Senija before returning her gaze to the ground.

"Listen. I... This isn't how I want things to end, with Tomik and I... and you, too. Can you tell Tomik, maybe, that I don't want to hurt him, and that I want to talk to him later, when I'm ready? I doubt he wants to see me right now, but I'm hoping he'll listen to you if you tell him what I said."

Catherine found a big magic looking shop. Inside there were a variety of magic items, but most of them related to light or healing magic. But in the middle of the shop there was a special item, one that Catherine herself wasn't able to use, but on sale nevertheless.

The lady went back inside the church. But a few moments after she came back and gave Lamden a bag of gold.

: I almost forgot. Here's your reward for your work. I hope it's enough.

And then the lady went back inside the church and the door closed for real.

Kyle looks over at the ex-guard.
"You're lady friend is right pretty. I can see why you wanted to see her so bad."

Catherine quickly takes note of what's there and their prices, before leaving and wandering around to unlock all the other shops see what's on offer elsewhere.

Catherine explored around the various buildings in Auroch. There wasn't many people around walking or many stores open, but there were two stores of interest: the main city blacksmith and a medicine store than also sold some random items. Catherine took note of the selection.

Tomik shook his head and headed into the city looking for some sort of manual labor or something he could do to either make a bit of coin or distract himself

After havign looked around the shops for a while with Albert, and nothing had caught her fancy, she spoke again to Albert, smiling.

"Well... I think it's about time. We should find some place to do it."
