You typically express your thoughts through your actions more than talking them out, so I figured I'd give you that shot. But if you think that you can talk out all of your issues, then we can do that. We should be heading back to the city soon anyways."

"All of them would probably take much to long."

"And as I said, if you're not willing to work out your issues with me, then we have a problem."

"I'm sure we can do that."

[Haspen]

Laura leaned toward Albert.

"_{I know I have barely any say in this group, but don't you think that Kyle and Tomik should get wasted and do some fisticuffs? That's how guys in my fort settled things.}"

: Me too. Come on, let's get back to Veyriden before it gets too cold.
While all that was happening, in the city two people were having an argument.

: I'm telling you! It's not their fault! The terrorist is at it again!

: The terrorist is not the most important matter right now. We have received information that Ixion has started the attack on Alberal, and they are moving their troops past the border as we speak. Keeping ourselves safe and hidden from possible intrusions is my first priority. That's why the friends you brought with you, if they even come back, are to leave, and Zane must return to his post, immediately.

: But... if they come back they'll be exhausted. They won't be able to handle a trip through the desert! Please, let them stay at least for some time.

: ...Fine. They can stay for one night, but only because you were representative before me, so I trust you still have some of the good sense that brought you to the position.

: Thank you, Phineas.

Nikolai turned around, but the other man hadn't finished yet.

: Oh and, Nikolai, I have an assignment for you. I need you to scout the Alberal border, to see how close the Ixion troops are to the desert. You can use your recent invention.

: ...Of course. I'll be seeing you later, Phineas.
The party reached the city before the night closed on them. Nikolai was waiting close to the entrance, and when he saw the group arrive safely he got excited as usual.

: You made it back! I'm so relieved! Come on let's get to my place where we can talk.

Kyle exhales through his nose.
"Do you have alcohol?"

[Haspen]

"To be honest I have this strange compelling to stab you, old man! _{I think Senija's style is rubbing off on me.}"

[Sirus]

: "You'll have to excuse these two...I've seen professional hitmen with better manners than them."

: "So...I assume that things have happened while we were gone?"

[Ochita]

Albert gave Laura a slightly concerned look. Maybe that sleepy gas hadn't.. fully worn off... or something.. He hoped it was that, though he was feeling rather tired himself, the desert heat and the walk and the near constant battling today had took its toll, and he yawned despite himself.
  "*Yawn* U-uh.. Maybe we're just tired, r-right Laura?"

Nikolai was sort of taken aback by those two.

: Uh... Yeah let's go to my place where you can sleep. If you want alcohol there are some taverns and the like around but watch out so a thing like this doesn't happen again.

As they were walking Nikolai continued talking.

: So I talked to the representative and I have some bad news and some good news. Which ones you want to hear first?

[Sirus]

: "Always get the bad news out of the way first."

"There's booze at hand so it can't be that bad."

Already relatively upset and somewhat distanced in the little procession from her brother and Kyle, Senija slapped her hands to her face. Great... things were going to get messed up anyway, weren't they?

: Well... the representative basically gave you a day to get out of the city... and Ixion kinda... started a war with Alberal... so that's that.
