Lillian began to play a chord, then repeated it before moving on.

"'And your doom shall rain down!' Crafted from the bones of dragons, and brought to life by the souls of fallen soldiers, he will build a funeral monument with the planet's name engraved on it!"

Lilly finished out the main melody on her guitar, then still the strings and folded her hands over the neck of it.

"Well. That's the story of the Amai-Te-Rangi, as I was told it. It's the villain in one 'end of the world' myth I've heard - that one day, it will descend from the heavens to destroy the people who turned against it after it was built to protect them."
