Albert tooka a couple of deep breaths, and nodded. While golems trying to kill everyone was still pretty bad, it was at least something he knew he could help with.
  "R-Right! There's a couple of these Golems over here, so I'll back up anyone taking these on!" Clutching his staff, Albert moved up beside Laura.

"I couldn't let you die. I just couldn't. I'm sorry, but I... I love you too much to just let you die. Not when I could have stopped it."

"Tomik..."

"Lilly..."

"I'm sorry for what I said! If not that you wouldn't run off and I wouldn't lose track of you and you wouldn't get kidnapped and..."

"...It's my fault for running off, too. And you were still right. It just... hurt. That's all."

      "It's nice to have you back, Lilly."

"Thanks, I guess... I'd be happier about it if I weren't the cause of so many problems..."

"Stay close to me Lilly. I'll protect you, I promise."

"Good enough for me. Oh, Lilly, I have something for you. It's supposed to help with healing apparently."

Damn it, Tomik... Why do you insist on letting me drag you down?

"Just... don't get hurt trying too hard to protect me, all right? You have to think of your own safety, too."

Lilly to W9 and take the Charming Flute from Tomik.

[Tiruin]

Alessa frowned at Lilly's bother.

      "I was an Ixion guard. Honestly, you're no problem at all. It's the attitude--their attitude, really, which makes all these problems. Misguided attitudes spin the wheel of problems, that all these worries exist."

      "Trust this stranger, lass. Treat her words as they are, and no assumptions in between! You haven't done anything wrong. Things just intervened."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"It's kind of you to say so."

It was obvious from her tone and expression that she didn't really believe those words.

[Tiruin]

      "It'll be kinder if you think about it deeply sometime. Look at it from another direction: ask yourself why we believe in you."

      "It's what my uncle kept telling me. He was...very deep in wisdom. T'was very hard to understand."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I suppose. Maybe we can talk more, once we're... relatively safe."

Lilly cast a worried glance at all the golems around.

[Tiruin]

      "I believe we'll have a lot of that time here. I see a few doors along the hallway, both sides. It seems this place was designed to be explored--if not strangely, due to that pedestal earlier, to be guarded. I think we're pretty safe in regards to eavesdropping anyway, unless those golems have a way to record our voices. I can hear mine echo down the hall."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"It's, uh, it's less being eavesdropped on... and more, kinda, not being distracted while those things are coming after us? 'Cause, um, I don't wanna get punched by one of them, and, I don't wanna distract Tomik. I mean, he's got enough on his mind trying to guard both me and himself."

[Tiruin]

      "Huh, good point. Well, look on the bright side though."

Alessa prepared a few arrows for the approaching golems.

      "They've to punch through all of us to get to any one of us. We can handle this."

Tomik reached back and grasped Lilly's shoulder, giving it a light squeeze before letting go.

"I love you."

That was all he said before focusing back on the golems but... Hopefully it would be enough. He hadn't realized just how deep his feelings for her were until she'd been kidnapped, but now... Now everything was clear.

Ketsuki found that the cloth she wrapped around her hand dissolved into her skin and disappeared, but she felt a bit healthier now.

Senija had her wyvern walk over to join the western group-- next to Albert but behind Laura, she planned to charge out and SLAM a golem when she had a chance. She took the opportunity to fit the magic ring she'd been given into a chink in her gauntlet-- she couldn't actually fit it over the gauntleted finger, after all, and so she slapped the ring a couple of times (still quite angry, and next to Albert, for possible unintentional intimidation) against the gauntlet before slamming the ring into a slot.
