"The only issue I have with you right now is that you're threatening to ruin this entire thing. I don't care what other issues you think you have with this group. Suck it up, agree to listen, and lets get going."

Looking a bit nervous, Abel walks over to Tomik.

"This matter seems very important to all of you, but I'd like to help. The ruins you're talking about sound like something I'd be interested in personally, and aside from that..."

"In a way, I feel responsible for what happened to your friend. I should have payed closer attention... Heading out alone in a city like this is dangerous, and I didn't realise."

"I won't be useless to you. I'm a practitioner of Ancient Magic so I can fight if it's necessary, and what I know as an archaeologist may come in handy at some point.

[Ochita]

Albert listened to the argument, his expression growing more worried. After a point, he couldn't help but voice his opinion.
  "I-I agree with Lamden here! A-And besides, we can't do anything until we get whatever we needed from that place, but we can keep on discussing this even if we go out and try to get that artifact!" Albert turned to Kyle, seemingly not done with voicing his opinion. "K-Kyle! I know that you want to help Lillian, but what if we meet them away from where they're holding her or something? I.. I don't want us to risk her safety.. I'm not condemning you, i-it's good to want to do what you can, but we just don't know and.." Albert seemed as though he had given most of what he was holding in, and he bit his lower lip, trying to be inconspicuous despite his outburst.

[Solymr]

: G-guard? Oh I know! I can talk to the representative in the Council to see what we can do.

: Right, so if we are going there, you better get ready. I don't even know how deep the place really is. Harlan, how are you holding up on picks? We might need to force some doors open and any extras we find will help too.

[Sirus]

: "They're almost all used up. I had thought about maybe retiring, so I didn't bother to get a new set."

"I'll follow your orders on this then. After getting everyone back safe and out of the city we can talk about further travelling plans."

[Swordstar]

"You're welcome to come so long as you can follow my orders too. And good, Kyle, thank you. With that, lets go."

: I grabbed a full set while I was out there. If you need it I can share it with you.

: "Okay, good. Let's get moving."

"If we're ready to leave, I'll take you out of the city."

Takes them out of the city of they need him to, otherwise follows Tomik's orders.

Zane, having stayed out of the argument, made sure his tomes were in the right place and got ready to follow along.
Not like he had anything better to do, anyway.

: "Damn right we will.
...oh right. I was going to tell you about this earlier, but in all the excitement...well, rumors are going about that Ixion might be planning to attack the city. We better get this thing done right away and get back on the road."

Alessa just listened and went along with the rest of the group--once Harlan had brought in a personal reason to join them, she decided to play a card of hers.

As far as my experience is concerned--if they had any actual, and ultimate malevolent intent, then they'd have done off with Lilly without giving notice. If we're ever going to approach this situation on their terms, might I add, then in the least prepare concealed weapons. I know little about you all, but something obviously tells me that there's importance here, something higher than just blind ransom."

She considered planning a sting operation, though given that she wasn't part of the security force, a little leeway was to be suggested.
