Head to the closest bars and taverns to try and find Lilly

"Doubt it. People will always need more of something. But enough with this depressing talk, how about something less sad, like... how do you style your beard like that? I personally touch it up using my hatchet."

: "Hm?" Lamden raised an eyebrow and blinked, raising his good arm to scratch his chin, "Ah- well, I haven't exactly had a mirror in the last few weeks to trim it properly. Normally I carry a small blade to keep it in check, but alas, the Ixonians have taken most of my belongings when I was captured."

Kyle scratches his beard in thought.
"I could show you how to shave with two axes. It's not that hard actually."

Laura stomps after Tomik.

Unfortunately neither Laura or Tomik can find Lilly because they went in completely wrong directions in the strange city.
Harlan manages to eavesdrop on a couple mages talking about Ixion.

Did you hear that Ixion is apparently readying a lot of soldiers?

Sounds like they're getting ready to war. But why now?

Word is around that apparently someone's been able to escape their prison island and they're worried it's going to make them look weak. But I think it's just another of Ixion's recent weirdness like jailing the doomsayers. Their actions lately don't make much sense.

: "Two axes? Hm..." Lamden attempted to shake his sling-bound right arm, "A tad bit difficult given my current condition, unfortunately. And I'd rather not use up precious time tidying up until I return home."

That didn't sound good. Harlan approached the two mages.

: "But why would Ixion risk going to war over an escaped prisoner or two? There's no way the bloodshed would be worth it."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Yes, I can. Here."

Lilly placed a few of the coins she had earned before meeting Nikolai on the counter.

"...Will that be enough?"

The mages gave Harlan a look and then walked away. It seems they didn't like being interrupted by a stranger.
The barkeep shakes his head.

You won't get anything with that little money.

Then he goes back to his business. But a young man at the counter takes notice of Lillian.

Here, let me buy you a drink. Where did you come from? We don't see many like you here.

The man then signals to the barkeep who nods and produces a clear drink for Lillian.

"Dammit! Laura, do you remember anything about which way she ran off? Which way she was headed?"

Kyle thinks again tapping on his chin. Finally he gets an idea and pulls out his newer axe, holding it for Lamden to look at his reflection in it.
"There, now you only need one arm!""

[Haspen]

"Nuh-uh... I'm sorry, I should've kept to myself instead of... exploding like that..."

[Swordstar]

"It happens, don't worry. Here, lets head back the way we came, try and find some other places, ok?"

Head back, look for more bars

"Ah, um, thank you, sir."

The man asked where she was from.

"Oh! I'm Lilly. I'm a traveling minstrel from Alberal. And, er, yourself?"
