Thanking Albert for his opportunistic tug (with a subtle hug as he pulled it out), Alessa felt her wound lighten and looked at the 'boss' of the motley crew, before nocking an arrow to face the other sharpshooter.

     "I've no idea what your deal is with Zane, but as a survivalist and the scout of this motley band, you've been standing in the midst of nowhere for quite some time--we may escort you free of charge {other than severage tax and all that, and my professional fees of course} and spare your life; this is not a suggestion but a choice of yours, to be made in this current moment."

Zane propelled the wind around him to hold off the wyvern rider, and retaliate in kind.
