Lilly peeked around Harlan's shoulder.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Lilly."

[placeholder till I fix the mug]

: "I'm guessing we're better than your last group. The one that's either missing or dead according to the old man."

Alessa nodded at Zane, noting the very different...characters before her.
     "He's their last man. I'm just a traveling guide through these areas, though I am an Ixionite. From where are you all?"

[mastahcheese]

Zane noticed Lilly mention her name, and realized that was probably in order.

"Right. I'm Zane, and our guide here is Alessa."

He then turned to the grey-haired one.

"Unless they can outrun a Dargas-bred wyvern on foot, I'm presuming dead. They've been getting bolder of late."
"If only our own people would become bolder in kind..."

[Sirus]

: "Harlan of Ixion. What's this about wyverns?"

[Haspen]

Laura sneakily elbowed Albert.

"_{Hey Albert, that hooded one looks extra suspicious, should I stab him pre-emptively?}"

[Ochita]

Albert coughed from the surprise, and after recomposing himself he sneakily shook his head.
: "_{You can't stab him when he hasn't even done anything yet! But the moment he does something.. If he does something, I will back you up.}"

[Haspen]

"_{Mm, I don't know, hooded men are always shady, my family used to say. You suuure he should go unstabbed?}"

[Ochita]

: "_{Laura, if you stabbed him without him doing anything to deserve it, that would be wrong, so yes. Please don't stab him.. Unless he does something to deserve it. I mean I don't want people to find a reason to dislike you such as stabbing people before they've done something wrong...}"

[Haspen]

Laura thought it over for a moment.

"_{Would you dislike me if I stabbed him prematurely but he would turn out to be a hired assasin or somethin'?}"

[Ochita]

Albert opened his mouth to respond, but then closed it, and seemed to be somewhat in thought for a couple of moments.
: "_{I'd firstly be upset that you stabbed him, but when or if he turned out to be an assassin, I'd be relieved that you...}" Albert stopped, and then gave a look to Laura.
: "_{I'm still saying that you shouldn't stab him prematurely, you know. Just that if you did do it and if it turned out that he was sent to kill us I'd be okay with it."}"

[Haspen]

Laura let out a muffle giggle.

"_{Sure, sure, no stabbing then.}"

[Ochita]

: "Wha- Was that all a joke?"
Albert seemed more confused and surprised than anything else. He had also forgotten to keep his voice low, something he only noticed a couple of moments after he finished. He cleared his throat awkwardly.

[mastahcheese]

: "Harlan of Ixion. What's this about wyverns?"

"From Dargas, yes. It's a mountain range on the penensula to the north-east of here. The place has a rather large numbed of brigands that attempt to invade Kizamo territory to pillage, or what have you. They tend to fly wyverns, because navigating the mountains on foot is an excersise in masochism. I was one of the border guards that kept them out."
"Normally they're content will just trying to sneak past us, and harass some people before heading home. Lately, they've been getting aggresive, more than usual. They could be desparate, they could have a new guy in command, who knows."
Zane looked over to the armored girl and the kid with the staff.
Strange people.

[Haspen]

"Peninsula, mister slim shady!"

[mastahcheese]

"Peninsula, mister slim shady!"

"Forgive my accent, I guess staying up north has rubbed off on me."
"Who is this slim shady? Is it some kind of pop reference I'm unfamiliar with?"
He tried to subtly examine himself to see if he fit some sort of stereotype.
