Haibach tilted his head slightly and then just shrugged.

: Just don't give them a reason to dump you I guess. Good luck anyways, maybe we'll meet again someday. Let's go mates! We have a job waiting for us!

The crew effusively said their goodbyes to Kyle with more than one pat in the back and left the inn.

~~~~Chapter 3: The City Under The Sand~~~~

After getting rid of Ixion's hunters that were chasing them, the group continues traveling along the coast. It took them more than a few days to reach Serania, but they arrived without a problem. As they entered the coastside city, they realized they were faster than the news.

As the party walked through the streets, they noticed nobody looked at them with any particular intention. The occasional guard glared at them but didn't say anything, thinking of them as a mere merc-for-hire group.

Even if the city wasn't as big as Zeton, the group still noticed there were some weapon and other shops as well as busy taverns and inns.

"It seems our infamy has not reached here. How pleasant, but we should not linger overmuch."

[Ochita]

Albert couldn't help but notice most of the glares, and so drew himself closer towards the rest of the group.
: "I'd agree.. I don't like these glares..."

Lilly looked around at the busy taverns, then noticed a likely looking street corner.

"Well, maybe I can change their minds, and maybe get us a little spare change."

She walked over to a spot between two taverns and took her guitar from her back, then leaned on the wall and tuned it a bit. Once it was to her liking, she began to play.

Laura's gears worked for a moment.

"Lily, the heck is a hotel?"

"It's another word for inn. Some of the more... upscale inns in my hometown have started using it. Probably to make it seem like they're not mere inns - they're hotels!"

Lilly chuckled to herself wondering why everybody forgot there were three 'L's in Lillian.

[Sirus]

: "So hotels are upscale inns. Interesting." He wondered how many valuables could be found in such a place.

: "I'm going to shop around for a bit. We should meet back here with Lilly in, say, an hour."

Albert checked his bag for money, before realising that all of the money is being held by Harlan.
: "Well.. I think I'll search for a staff shop, to pick up another staff.. Harlan, could I have some money?"

Harlan and Kyle eventually found a pretty noticeable weapon shop. Inside there were a large variety of weapons, and a short bearded weaponsmith was making more in the back of the shop. When he noticed the customers, he stopped and went to the front of the shop.

Meanwhile Albert couldn't find a proper magic shop. The best he could find was a small shop where a nice old lady silently produced a staff when she noticed Albert's robes. the shop mostly dealt with medicine, but on one side there was a small sized drum like the ones used sometimes by the Ixion army.

Antitoxin: 150 g

Albert gave a happy small nod at the old lady behind the counter, and gave the money for a heal staff. His eyes lingered on the drum, but he shook his head at the idea.

Just buy a heal staff, return to the group.

The old lady checked the gold, gave Albert the staff and waved goodbye.

"I'm not going to need new weapons anytime soon. I'm sure we won't need to get into anymore fights in here, if we continue going at the same pace as we have."
