"Well, I'm sure this will work itself out. I mean you helped us escape; I'm not going to let something happen to you if I can help it, and I'm sure the others feel that way too."

"Er. Not saying I want to brawl with a pirate crew or anything like that, but, you know."

Tomik had been sent into a confused mumbling state at Harlan's comment, which was thankfully mostly covered by Lily's quick thinking. Calming down some, he managed a nod after Lily's final comment.

"You're our companion, so we'll help protect you if need be."

Senija continued to grin at the blonde priest.
:"Oh, yeah. I mean, I can also go upside down and stuff when I'm on my own, too, since I don't have to worry about killing someone, heheh."

Ketsuki smiled at Harlan's comment. She had laid her sword on the table, and was carefully running a small whetstone along the length. Her eyepatch was off, drying out with several of her other clothes, revealing a sightless pink orb.

"My master was said only fools and geniuses are ever truly certain."

: "Up..Upside down? Worry about killing someone... You were holding back just then?"

Kyle walks into the tavern. He walks over to Harlan.
  "I'm sorry for trying to kill you."

Senija giggled madly.
:"I grew up with Ranzen here, so we've figured out some craaazy shit together."

[Ochita]

: "Really? You two must've gotten up to the wildest things."
And then Albert sneezed, causing him to remember that yes, it was still raining somewhat.
: "Oh, uh.. right, raining still, gonna freeze in these robes.."
Albert made a small sweeping gesture with both of his hands at his rain and mud soaked robe, and made to dismount from Ranzen.

Kyle walks into the tavern. He walks over to Harlan.
  "I'm sorry for trying to kill you."

: "I'm used to it. Want to explain what that was about?"

Kyle flops into a chair.
  "Well, when I was three my mother married a sailor. He charmed her but I wasn't convinced. Well, my feeling was right since he left us with nothing but debt. My mother lost everything including her mind. When she died she told me to find him and... well, I'm sure you aren't interested in the exact orders my mother gave regarding him."

: "...well aside from the fact that I'm probably younger than you are, I lived most of my life in the Ixani capitol. I saw the ocean for the first time when I got sent to prison. Pretty sure I don't qualify as a sailor or Captain by any stretch of the imagination."

Ketsuki paused in the midst of sharpening her blade.

"Are you sure this mind loss is not hereditary?"

: "Well I suppose they're not coming back for another round." Lamden looked up in the sky, clouds still pouring. Looking down to to Laura, he laughed.
: "Guess that leaves me to the walk. Go with Clare, she'll likely be able to take you back in short order." Lamden gently nudged his horse, starting to trot away on the trek across the plains.

"My legs are still working thank you very much."

Lamden blinked, his horse stopping.
: "I didn't mean to imply-" Lamden caught himself, scratching his head before continuing, "I don't believe spending the rest of your day cleaning mud off your greaves after a long trek across rain-soaked plains in heavy armor is a good way to spend your time, milady."
