Lilly couldn't help but blush at the string of compliments.

"I guess we'll just have to tease her back about Albert... and, um, for what it's worth... I think you're handsome yourself, and quite brave and strong..."

[Swordstar]

"Ah, wait, her and Albert? Also, uhm... thank you. I don't..."

He kind of trailed off into mumbling, not really sure how to handle the whole situation. The only time he'd been in anything approaching a relationship, it'd been arranged by their parents and she'd called it off after realizing that she wasn't interested in boys. So needless to say that had been less than a stellar example to go off of.

"Uhm, I know I kinda told you about this before but... I've never really done anything like this... Don't really know how to handle things... But... I just... hope I can make you happy."

[SeriousConcentrate]

Lilly silenced him with a finger against his lips.

"I'm not exactly experienced with this sort of thing either, but I think maybe you're overthinking it too much."

"Let's just worry about getting in out of the rain first... and I guess dealing with whatever is going on with that pirate and Harlan..."

"Oh! And the thing with Albert and Senija?"

"I noticed them talking a lot, and now she's giving him rides on her wyvern. I mean, she's your twin, if you know what I'm saying."

[Swordstar]

"I... Yeah, alright. And interesting... I may need to talk to Albert in that case."

Directing Modra down to the ground near the town. Dismounting, he held out his hand to Lily.

"Well, lets get you indoors. I wouldn't want you to catch a cold."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Yeah. A bit of warm shelter would be great right about now."

Lilly took Tomik's hand and slid off Modra's back, primly smoothing her skirt down with her free hand.

"Also, talk to Albert? Do you need to warn him?"

Her expression was neutral but her tone was teasing.

[Swordstar]

Tomik smirked.

"Something like that."

Leading the way into the inn, he sat down at a table near the fire.

"There, that's better, right?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Well, your sister certainly does seem to be a handful."

Lilly dropped into the seat across from Tomik, taking off her guitar as she did so and setting it on the table.

"It's a good thing this is a magic instrument. All that rain would probably have ruined it otherwise."

She shivered and ran her hand over her hair, trying to get some of the excess water out.

"...Anyway yeah, it's much better in here. Oh! Speaking of rain ruining things, what about your armor? And is it OK to leave Modra outside, I mean, I know she's a tough creature and all but I imagine she's not a fan of being rained on either..."

"...but I guess it's not like we have a choice on where to put her, I guess."

[Swordstar]

Tomik had been in the process of taking off his armor.

"Ah, yeah, need to take this off, put it near the fire, let it dry off. I'll check on it later today. As for Modra, she'll just find some shelter, though she actually tends to enjoy the rain assuming it's not too bad."

Having finished taking off his armor, with just a light shirt on underneath, he stretched.

"That's better. So... How do we handle... us?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

Lilly shrugged and looked at her guitar.

"That's a pretty big question, Tomik. I dunno how to answer it just yet."

She looked back up.

"What about you, what do you think?"

[Swordstar]

"I don't really know. Suppose that's why I was asking you. But... I just want to be with you, I guess. I just... Yeah. Like I said, I've got no idea what I'm doing here..."

[Sirus]

Harlan spoke up from his lurking spot nearby.

: "Well, a private room usually costs about 10 gold a night. You could start there."

[SeriousConcentrate]

Unusually for her, Lilly's expression turned to a glare, the side of her mouth turned up slightly.

"Perhaps you should get one for yourself and that pirate."

[Sirus]

: "No thanks. I prefer to deal with angry men trying to kill me in front of witnesses." He sounded completely serious.

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Makes sense to me. What did you do to him, anyway?"

[Sirus]

: "Do you really think so little of me? Why would you assume I've done something to him?"

: "...never mind, don't answer that. To be honest I don't think I've ever seen him before today. Probably has me confused for someone else."
