Lamden awkwardly tried to keep the staves all on his horse, sitting up carefully. Looking at the healer, he bowed his head.
: "Go. I'm sorry this had to come to pass."
Lamden directed his horse to the east, towards Albert.
: "Here, I believe someone needed another heal staff?" He held out the more intact heal staff in his good hand, the rest of them sort of accumulating on a crude sling around his back.

Albert simply looked at the broken pieces of his staff, before looking at Laura. He gave a face between the states of incredulous and glum. He was however snapped out of that state by two things, a sneeze and that pirate who really wasn't that pirate-y getting confrontational with Harlan. Really confrontational. He started to move towards the fight, only to stop when Lamden rode up to him.
: "Lamden.. Thanks."
Albert gave a small smile, and took the staff from Lamden's hand.

Senija flew up and plopped down near Harlan and Kyle, directly next to her brother.
:"Eh? What's going on here anyway?"

  "... Fine. Since no one can mind their own damned buisnesse I'll talk about it at the village."
Kyle turns and walks towards the village.

[Swordstar]

"You make it our damned business when you grab one of our companions by the throat. Harlan, are you ok?"

[GiglameshDespair]

Ketsuki tapped Harlan on the shoulder companionably.

"It seems you've made a friend, doesn't it?"

[Sirus]

Harlan nodded at Tomik's question.

: "He just grabbed me by the shirt. I'll be fine, assuming we get out of this damned rain soon." Despite his words, he seemed a bit short of breath from the suddenness of being lifted into the air.

Ketsuki tapped Harlan on the shoulder companionably.

"It seems you've made a friend, doesn't it?"

: "Oh yes. Just like the friends back home."

[Swordstar]

"Right then. Do you want a ride to the village? Probably going to pick up one or two more riders along the way, but you're light enough it shouldn't matter. It'll get you out of the rain quicker."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Urgh. I'm going to have to dry my eyepatch out."

[Sirus]

: "Think you could take both of us at once, Tomik? A wet eyepatch does not sound pleasant."

[Swordstar]

"Sure. Senija, Clare, you take others as well. We want to get everyone back to the village as quickly as possible, alright?"

Without really waiting for an answer, Tomik helped Ketsuki and Harlan up onto Modra's back and headed off towards the village. When they were close, he directed Modra towards the ground, landing right outside the village gates.

"Right then. Here we are. You two get inside quick, alright? Harlan, maybe stay away from those pirates for now..."

[Sirus]

: "Good idea. And thanks for the ride."

Harlan got inside the village gates and hunted for the closest tavern where he could take shelter. Preferably one with a roaring fire.

[GiglameshDespair]

Ketsuki gave the wyvern a appreciative pat on the neck after she dismounted.

"My thanks. A mighty beast you have there."

Without further ado, she entered the village, walking with Harlan to the tavern (or equivalent).

Senija thought.
:"Hmmmyeah, I SHOULD take someone."
Another launch off, and a large terrifying lizardbeast and a smaller but still pretty terrifying girl slammed down about four feet from Albert.
 :"Hey Albert. Gonna carry someone to the village, wanna hop on?"

Tomik quickly directed Modra back towards the rest of the group, landing near Lily.

"Hey there. Want a ride to the village?"
