Slag pit improvement

I like idea of having reaction by-products such as slag, and I don't mind slag bars being non-stackable (thus, no dedicated haulers for that).
But slag requires lot of micromanagement, as it can not be automated with workshops plugin (it can not have "enable if reagent count is more than....").
My idea is to add another auto-vaporizing type of stone (like, slag dust), and have it as a product of "Throw slag in the slagpit" reaction.

I'd prefer to request the "workflow" to allow triggers on the reagents, but seeing as the topic is just dead, it won't happen unless someone else does it, and I don't have the time.

I understand where the request comes from, but slag has been specially designed to prevent automation (can't stockpile, very heavy, can't automate slag pit).

If it bothers you, you can safely disable all slag by disabling the slag pit in the launcher, it should disable all slag-related things.
I know it's not quite what you were talking about, but I personally like the idea of slag as it was designed, so I might not be much help.

Did you try to add AUTOMATIC to the 'Throw slag in the pit' reaction? That should queue the job as soon as you have slag.
