I'm thinking of having Albert use fortify, does anyone have any big objections or alternative ideas?

We do have a good few people down, so maybe it would be best to heal someone first, get danced, then fortify?
Gotta keep on top of the damage.

That said I don't actually remember what fortify does and I'm too lazy to check, so if it is a heal then by all means.

Albert can then fortify if he wishes and lamden heals... someone. Anne-Laude, Senija, whoever.

Next turn we'll have to press forward to try to rescue kyle, but that incoming group of enemies will wipe us if we're not careful.

I swear to God, man, he's my kryptonite. Slave Knight Gael? Fifth try. Champion Gravetender? Second try. Sister Friede? Third try. Halflight? First try. Demon Prince? First try. Soul of Cinder? First try. Darkeater Midir? First try.

Nameless King? Probably died to him about fifty times now. I just cannot read his attacks (or rather, the delay on his attacks and when he's going to go for a two, three, or four hit combo because they all look the same; I swear this motherfucker does two hits, acts like he's done and then one frame before he's fully in his neutral stance he'll suddenly throw out a third R1 and roll-catch me) or his range and it's driving me nuts. It's utter bullshit. His first phase, where he's riding a dragon... I've actually beat that dragon into paste without taking a single hit twice across all my attempts, and most of the time I don't even need to use a single Estus. King of Storms is easy. Fucking Nameless King.
