Threaded Cane is an alright weapon. Something to note about it is that the whip form counts as Serrated, so it does more damage against Beasts.

Sure, but it's the most pimp as a cane. The sort of weapon, were he in bloodborne, Albert would use, I imagine.

Well, if the Holy Blade is the most powerful weapon, you might as well think about flavour reasons to use the others.

You can justify that mechanically too. Using only one weapon is boring, and there are a bunch of neat movesets to try out. :P I want to use every weapon at least once, except the Saw Cleaver since it's objectively the worst weapon in the game. Decent base damage, terrible scaling that is outclassed by the Saw Spear, moveset outclassed by the Saw Spear, only Serrated in its transformed state while the Saw Spear is Serrated in both...

Oh, right, that reminds me. The Threaded Cane also counts as Righteous in cane form, so it does more damage against the enemies in Cainhurst. :P

Anyway, my characters so far are:

Maria: Used Ludwig's Holy Blade up until getting the Reiterpallasch, which was used up until getting the Burial Blade, and now switches between Burial Blade and Moonlight Sword.
Henry: Used Blades of Mercy the entire game, which was difficult because Eileen is REALLY hard to kill early on and it wasn't worth it since it cost 40k souls and more Skill levels than I had. It would have been better to have waited. :P
Gabriel: Uses Simon's Bowblade (same situation as Eileen; getting it off Simon was difficult to do when I went for it as early as possible) up until getting the Chikage, which became the main weapon with the Bowblade becoming back-up.
Heather: Used Kirkhammer as main weapon up until getting the Church Pick, whereupon the Kirkhammer became the secondary weapon.

My next character is probably going to either use the Beast Rune and Beast Claws combo, or maybe the Milkweed Rune and Kos Parasite combo... or perhaps the Amygdala Arm or Whirligig Saw... Hmm....

You mean besides blasting one of the many monsters we're facing? We kinda need everyone fighting right now at least until we get some more people up on their feet. If Lamden heals Kyle, Albert can move and take Ketsuki's old spot and heal him again to get him at full HP. Lilly can move one over, bard the two of them. One of 'em can heal Laura, the other can heal Senija. Cat+Harlan can hit some peeps (maybe wraith A?). Asher's phantom + Asher can try and take on Skel D. That should be it? I dunno. Alternatives would also work lol
