Bio: A one-eyed swordswoman. She doesn't smile much, but she's still friendly.
Ketsuki was raised quite out of society, by a hermit living in the woods in the heart of Ixion. This hermit - Jonaki Konian - happened to be a master swordsman, and he raised the child that was Ketsuki like his own daughter. She never asked what happened to her parents, but the impression she got from him was nothing pleasant.
When she was fifteen, full of the boldness of youth, she encountered a monster raid against a caravan passing through the woods. Leaping at the chance to test her skills, she saved the caravan, but lost her eye. The hermit was greatly displeased with her foolishness: she'd risked her life, receiving a permanent injury. Still, there were more monsters in the woods that had ever been before. He came to a decision - Konian sent her to live and train with a distant contact of his, while he departed alone for the rumoured site of the waygate.
Ketsuki, however, didn't want to go live with some dusty old man she'd never met, and set off into the world on her own. She lived as a mercenary for a while, before finding a decent life as an area fighter. Unfortunately, a local crime boss decided his champion should win, and rigged a match. Having learned of this, and the almost certain death if she fought (either dying in the match or being stabbed in the back for winning) she decided she better lay low for a bit...
