With help from another tech Peter carries the man to the med bay and tells the security officer who is there, "Watch the rest of these guys and keep em safe, I've got orders to take this guy to the medbay"
The wording of your action is a little confusing, so I'm going to operate on the assumption that you call a tech and that the order was given to Ford, the science officer (because the security officer here is dead).
------
Dr Rail ArmageYou brush out your hair after the sonic shower, glad that someone had the good sense to pack grooming equipment aboard the
Unity. Staring at the mirror opposite, you tie your hair back and take a moment to examine the deep green uniform of the Xenobiology crew, currently worn against your recent de-cryogunked skin. You were informed by the tech that awoke you that Dr Skye, the chief Xenobiologist, had marked you and about twenty others for early awakening. Apparently the drive had suffered some sort of fault and over four hundred crew had been woken up to deal with it. The pre-packed gel dispensers can only deal with so many rations, so Skye's hydroponics labs need managing to force a sped-up fruiting cycle of the edible plants.
Your business there (fundamentally glorified gardening, given your skills) is non-urgent, so you were allowed a little time to freshen up. You straighten out the rest of your uniform and head towards the Hypdoponics deck, Skye's gardens, on the other side of the main cylinder.
As you pass through the gap between the mess halls and Engineering, en-route, you hear the muffled but distinctive retorts of shredder pistols and equally muffled but distinctive screaming. You bring up your datapad and scan the map of this level; you're only three corridors away from the armoury - maybe the security staff is already gathering there?
FordAs you sit, studying the body of the presumed Officer Ernovich, you lose yourself in thought about potential medical devices. You are suddenly brought out of your reverie when you realise that no security forces have arrived yet. You're alone in this corridor, with a laser cutter, a dataprobe, that tech's concussion hammer (damn it, what was his name?) and... a shredder pistol. Okay, maybe not all bad.
Or maybe not all good, either. You hear the muffled sound of shredder fire and screams from nearby corridors. Your datapad beeps, and a message and a map pop up.
Armoury. Now! Z.PeterYou call another medtech from your datapad, who quickly arrives with a stretcher and helps you carry the injured technician to the medbay. A hurried walk later, you arrive at the medbay and hurry the man onto a waiting sickbed. Dr Lal is already there and prepped for surgery. He speaks to you as he starts to examine and operate on the man, periodically gesturing to pieces of equipment for you to hand him.
"Engineering's gone into chaos, mutineer security officers are trying to seize the bay and its equipment. Scalpel. They called the captain to make demands as the fighting begun. Turns out they're led by one Corazon Santiago, our very own Security Chief. Needle, sutures. I'd ask Yang how the hell this happened, but we've had no contact from him since we ordered his pod thawed."
Another medical tech hobbles into the room, carrying a man by the arm over one shoulder - another red-shirted engineering tech, his leg nearly blasted off by shredder fire. "There's more to come in," says the tech.
"Damn it," says Lal. "Peter, set up a triage. Anyone who'll live for now, to one side. Anyone I can save, to me. Anyone you can save, you take care of. Anyone we can't, to one side. Start with that patient there."
