He does kind of need you to fight the other guys.

If he eliminated you, chances were an unstoppable threat would have popped up.

Astmalmo would have to pretty much fight everyone else by then. Especially Harb whom I guess would love to have vast amount of weakly-defended, monarchy-controlled provinces right at his front door!

Then again I'm still worried that you're going to roll over everyone anyways.

I think Explosive shells is +1 to attack, while tanks is -1 to enemy defense from fortifications, so they should stack.

I'm thinking of Howitzers.

I think tanks replaces Explosive Shells.

Ye v:

Explosive shells gives +1 to attack, then Primitive Tanks give +2/+1 to rolls and finally advanced tanks +3/+2.

And then you put trait/fortification/airfield/comms bonuses on top of that.

Next game, I'd suggest making Research/Reinforcements happen at the beginning/end of each player's turn, rather than at the beginning of the round. As Sheb is near the end of the turn list he can snipe someon'es capital and then immediately reinforce. whereas I have to weather a full round of attacks before any capitol gains reinforce.
