Bridge over Magma
« on: October 01, 2014, 09:23:00 am »

Does a bridge built OVER magma have to be made from a magma safe stone?  And have magma safe mechanisms to a lever?  They are not in the magma...so I am not sure.

No, they went to Hel, where they lead a bleak existence in cold and darkness. Valhalla is reserved for valiant warriors.

I'm almost positive that the golden bridge I made over magma ended up melting, I suppose you could just check :).

According to the Wiki, tiles adjacent to magma heat up to 10075 degrees Urist as opposed to 12000 for things in direct contact with it. 10075 is only slightly warmer than body temperature, and way below the melting/combustion point of any bridge material I can think of. So it should be fine.
