That's exactly what it was - that and "the plantfix mod 40.11" that adds the ability to have fruits, leaves, seeds, ect... in adventure and fortress mode.  It's why I just put a link in the OP to a game that had already incorporated all of these changes, rather than waiting to find out if someone had put them in correctly.

If you're able to embark at the Museum in 40.15 with the display_case workshop available, we can definitely update the next save into that context.  I wonder if the new version will allow all those dwarves under the sleeping curse to wake up at least part of the day?

OK, I did it properly and it works just fine for new fortresses.  I also used the latest plantfix mod and added

   [BUILD_KEY:CUSTOM_I]

to the d'i'splay case definition.

[EDIT] Old saves work just fine.

What does "Custom I" do? Make the display case have a hotkey?

Yeah, it's just so you can

'b'uild -> 'w'orkshop -> d'i'splay case

If you recall I ended up in some confusion in the previous (defunct) Natural History Museum thread because I accidentally selected the wrong workshop. Having a shortcut key, like all the rest, will make that sort of mistake less likely (IMO).

Ok, if the game doesn't crash with these new additions while using our old save file, we'll update it to 40.15 + mods after tonnot's turn.

Talking about DF 0.40.15, earlier today I read in the Dwarf Therapist thread that they have the memory layout ready. It doesn't support the new emotions, but you can use Dwarf Therapist 28 just fine with the latest DF apart from that.

Cool.  We really have a great group of programmers and enthusiasts for this game.

I'm afraid I've got a few essays I really need to work on for collage at the moment, so you're going to have to skip me for now.

Was looking at the turn order and wanted to let everyone know that I will be without any kind of internet between November 21 and November 24, I will have access again on the 25th.

Hopefully that won't be a problem, since Tavern's turn ends the day before I get back anyway. However, if Tavern ends his turn early, and on the right day (say, the 21st), it'll be a few days before I'm around to answer any messages..

No replies from Tavern, so I'm going to update the file to 40.16 and see if we can't get some of ours back from those damn elves.

The original Museum site crashes the game when it's attempted to reclaim, so we'll be moving over to a site to the east named simply "EastGuild".  A submission chute attached to a lever and covered by a little shack will shortly be built.
