"Well... There's still that cake left."
Carran points at it. The one that's been standing there for a while now, forever alone and ignored. Carran knew, now, that he was looking at a familiar soul, and wow he was getting off-topic.

"...But I didn't order it and that would be stealing, and that's terrible.  But if you want I can, and will, eat it if it makes you happy."

"So you think that means you have to treat them like dirt." Not a question, a statement. More red is creeping in.

"Are you try'n to defend them girl?" a rather heavyset woman asks, eyeing Anna suspiciously.

Ian shrugs.
"Maybe, she should be on duty right now though so I hope we don't see her. Can only mean bad things."
Ian parks and gets out.

"What does she do for a living?" Gale asks as she gets out, she makes a point of sniffing the air and sighing blissfully.

"That is exactly what I am doing. Are you going to stop me?" her voice is practically venom. Her hair is completely red now. Like, neon red. She makes Vindicator very noticeable, but doesn't move to draw yet.

"Saph, Falcon said it was for you two. Also he called Carran your boyfriend."
Jet says coming out from the back.

"She's a cop. I believe I told you about her."

Carran can into looking confused, though.

Lexus puts the bag down.

"That is exactly what I am doing. Are you going to stop me?" her voice is practically venom. Her hair is completely red now. Like, neon red. She makes Vindicator very noticeable, but doesn't move to draw yet.

"Psh, if you wanna get in a fight with this many people, you'll be wishin' I stopped ya." the woman waddles to another part of the crowd

"Saph, Falcon said it was for you two. Also he called Carran your boyfriend."
Jet says coming out from the back.

"She's a cop. I believe I told you about her."

"Right, sorry, distracted by jerky."  She does indeed look sorry, "So how do you know about this place?"

"...wait, what?"
Carran can into looking confused, though.

"Ah..." Saph blushes a tremendous crimson, "N-no I couldn't.  That would make this a d-d..."

"Frankly, I'd rather not fight. I will if you all keep this up."

"Me and Jet would go here all the time after jobs and stuff. Here and Falcon's."

"He thought Saph is your girlfriend. And Saph is stuttering because she can't say the word for the activity couples do where they go out to eat."

"Frankly, I'd rather not fight. I will if you all keep this up."

A couple of people in the crowd turn to look at her angrily.  It looks like most people don't have weapons of any kind, meaning that most of them probably don't have Aura training.  If she wants to keep this non-lethal she'll have to be careful.  Meanwhile, mean-spirited calls of "Monster" and "Freak" continue to be screamed at the two in the center.

Ian smiles.
"Me and Jet would go here all the time after jobs and stuff. Here and Falcon's."

"He- he couldn't possibly be.  He barely tolerates me as is.  I'm nothing more than a mangy damaged pet."

"Sounds nice, got any suggestions for what to get?" she makes a point of opening the door for him

Lexus, meanwhile, eats their bread, pointedly avoiding looking at the man in black.
